    The eggs lend a richness that's 2nd to none when it comes to fried pastries that you won't get in the average chin chin recipe.. . since I'm in the U.S.. I would use butter flavored cisco mixed with real butter and butter extract for my fat and organic farm fresh eggs as opposed to the GMO you'll find on store shelves. AWESOME RECIPE & GREAT WORK👍😉

    Hi ma’am.. I make chinchin for a living..my chinchin is always rich, but the only complaints i always get is that it’s always too hard, although some of my customers love it that ways, while most doesn’t. I watched this video and i love the recipe.just that because of economy, i no longer add eggs to my chinchin and it still tastes the same way. I always make large quantities. Please i want to know exactly what I’m missing, I mean why it’s always hard. Could it be the eggs? Or could it be because i always cover mine for 15mins. Or because i always add water. Because I’ve never tried it without water, and I’m not even sure if it’s possible that can make it without water, because of the large quantity that i make. Please help me ma’am, we learn everyday.

    I learned a lot from this recipe. Please i would like to know what a baking powder does and why you didn't add it in the chin chin. Thanks!

  • @Adasrecipes

    @Adasrecipes

    4 жыл бұрын

    I didn't add baking powder because I used egg all through without water. The egg did the job of the baking powder which gave a very soft and crunchy chin chin. Had it been I used water there would have been the need to add baking powder. Secret of using only egg gives an oiless soft and crunchy chin chin while the ones made with water has the tendency of absorbing more oil.

According to its meaning I want to give it a name in Spanish, the language I speak, to start selling it, always respecting its origin in the country, thank you very much for answering me; greeting from the jungle of Peru.
