@JTH2993 Ref not appearing in the inbox. I have been away on holiday. To keep my weekly videos going, I uploaded the mint sauce video before I went on holiday and kept on private setting so I could release it on holiday approx 1 week later. It says uploaded on 23rd (I actually made it public on 31st) Maybe the delay in releasing it has caused the problem? By the look at how many thumbs up there seems to be quite a few others as well. Thanks for letting me know. OriginalNakedChef

Whenever a herd of sheep block your way when out driving and beeping the horn doesn't work, all you need to do is get out of the car and yell *_"MINT SAUCE!"_* at them and they will just run off in terror. If *even that* doesn't work, then you need to go out there with an Ipad and show them this vid to scare them off so that you can resume your journey.

At the end, it looks like your camera was getting mighty tempted by that food and leaning in ever so slowly. I'm gonna just imagine the video cut off right before it charged in and scarfed down all your food without you being able to stop it.

A few comments : There are 17 varieties of mint commonly available. The only one that works for roast lamb is Spearmint. Try using lavender mint, or Moroccan mint (great for tea) and see I would always add the boiling water before the vinegar; how else to extract the flavour from the fresh leaves? I would avoid at all costs using wine vinegar. Malt vinegar is the only one for this. Cooking the potatoes with the meat will destroy any chance of decent gravy The chef's constant self-congratulation gets a bit wearing. Apart from that, no quibbles.

RUBBISH. Ive used the common old wild mint out of my garden for years. And its like with baking with anything using sugar, you mix the ingredients together THEN add the hot water. by soaking it for an hour + THAT infuses the flavour. And wow, your even picking at the spuds and gravy. Im British and we have always put our spuds in with the main roast!
