Updated.I have found it. The perfect method with a hand wisk. First make sure your wisk batteries are not running down. After warming the milk in a 500mL glass pyrex jug place your 200-250 mL of milk into your 600 mL metal pitcher. Tilt your pitcher at around 30 degrees angle, place the wisk onto the shallower side just below the surface around half to 1cm. Now wisk for 2-3 seconds, no more or less to introduce air into the milk then immediately move the wisk to the the opposite but bottom and deepest part of the angled pitcher and vortex the milk for 60 seconds. You should hear the wisk sound lower in pitch at the last 10-15 seconds. Now tap out the air from the metal pitcher. Gently pour the milk back into the glass pyrex jug, then back into the metal pitcher, keep rotating and tapping out any bubbles. The milk is now perfectly microfoamed. Important when generating the vortex fractionally move the wisk about a centimeters away from the wall towards the center of the base. If you don't the vortex will be poor, if you over move the vortex will start drawing in air and generating bubbles ruining the milk. Its an equilibrium of this for 60 seconds. Your milk will now have the consistency of wet paint. Without this consistency there's no latte art.

Some people say not to use heated milk for frothing, that it won’t work. You’ve proved them wrong. Thanks for that.
I love you. You saved me. I've been doing perfect steamed milk for some time, but I now realised that my pitcher doesn't have pour sprout, which is the reason I couldn't do clean late art.
There’s not much better than a well made latte, and this looks awesome.

I just tried this without instructions today as an experiment. I moved it around too much apparently, so it ended up as just the crappy airy foam. I’ll 100% be doing this next time, thank you for showing us how to do this properly
this one is the best frother
Great

"wow this looks simple i'll try it :D" *sets house on fire* damn
Mine does make foam at the top, but everything below is still very liquidy, not creamy or thicker. I am using 2% milk and on a tall glass. Should I use whole milk and wider cup?
How would you preheat the milk? Just use a different container? Microwave, or maybe the stove? Thanks!
I think the French press is easier than the hand frother. I only get foam at the bottom with hand frother.
I’ve tried this but the milk ends up too over frothed. Any tips on how to get the right texture? I don’t know if my mini whisk is too powerful or what it is
What did you use for the shot of coffee?
Brilliant video. I still fail at latte art though. I use a Starbucks ground in my french press, the problem is that though I am frothing the milk properly, my coffee in the french press lacks crema, it's just black fluid. So no matter how much I swirl it, the froth just 'plops' on top, just sits. Any idea what I should do? :(
Recommended way to heat milk? Or time in microwave ?
Also at the 'You Need' part, do we need regular coffee, espresso.....How full should be the cup when you started the art? Its a half done presentation.
very great video but pls belp me ... when i try to make design so the milk doesnt float and go side to make tulip and heart .. but it falls and be still at one place only .. pls help
how do you heat the milk? Is it by using a microwave?
Those frothers don't work. I've done this so many times. It remains slightly bubbly at the top and still milk at the bottom. Are you holding the frother at an angle? Cause I'm certain I'm doing literally everything you're doing.

I'm struggling with this, so the duration is about 20s using a frother? I'll give it a try. and if I use french press to make the micro foam, what's the duration?
@CoffeetoArt

Hey TEMBIR ! For the duration, you should aim for 20-30 seconds, should be alright. If you want to foam your milk with the french press I suggest doing 30-40 little/fast pumps and don't forget to swirl and tap your milk before pouring for latte art !

@jayceec3178

Most of the time I make a perfect thick froth, it’s so thick at times , it’s like marshmallows. It took a while to realise the milk needs to be hot but not boiling. Start with the froth handheld gadget in the middle, don’t have it too far up or it creates too many bubbles which creates air. After you’ve held it in the middle, making a whirlpool, lower it and slightly turn the container on one side. Put the frother down further until you have a nice thick froth. Perfecto. It doesn’t create really thick froth all the time though, most times I put it back in the microwave to make the milk hotter and it works. Hope this helps.

It looks simple, but there must something wrong with me if, no matter how many times I tried, I get a cappuccino fluffy foam cap that just floats on top of the coffee :( My frother has three speeds and I tried all of them to no avail! Same foam cap. I tapped the pitcher, no bubbles atop, still the foam cap. I kept the tip of the frother deep inside milk, moved it around, slanted the pitcher. Still the foam cap. If I use almond milk in place of cow milk, same foam story. I don't know what's wrong with this seemingly easy process. Probably if I don't froth at all and just pour milk it will work.
I’ve wasted too much milk , idk why but my milk is still having large bubbles ?

A latte has the steamed milk poured into the espresso just as shown. Macchiatos have the espresso poured over the milk.
Nothing is more cruel than the horrible dairy industry . The cow is inseminated painfully every 6 months so that calf is born. The calves are taken away immediately without a single drop of milk. The male calves are transported to the slaughterhouse to be killed on the very day. This process continues for some years till the cow is completely exhausted and later sold for meat. That’s the milk we consume. I literally had sleepless nights after watching the cows, their udders become so big they can’t even move. And they run to save their babies from going to the slaughterhouse. People needs to consume plant based milk to end this madness.
