How to Make Jo Jo Potatoes (2018)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Jo Jo Potatoes are a great way to enjoy potato wedges. These potatoes are fried just like fried chicken. You can recreate these potatoes at home in no time at all.

I grew up in Northeast Ohio and ordering chicken and Jojo’s was the weekend thing. When I moved to s Florida 9 years ago , we looked for a place that serves chicken and jojo’s but that doesn’t exist here. Pizza and chicken but not a box of chicken and jo’s. They do have potato wedges but they are not the same. They’re cut from small potatoes and not breaded but they are seasoned. Also they’re not typically served with fried chicken . So we make the Jojo’s at home and my friends who were used to potato wedges really love the Jojo’s now too !

The best Joe Joes are made with left-over baked potatoes. Whenever I make baked spuds, I ALWAYS bake a couple extra for my Joe Joes for breakfast the next morning.

It's a common item sold in supermarkets and convenience stores in the Pacific Northwest. A lot of places elsewhere serve 'spuds' or potato wedges but breading them like this is something I haven't seen much at all outside the pacific northwest.
