Then I discovered them freshy made like this. WHOLE different experience, and ended up falling in love with them lmfao. Now whenever I'm near the vendor I almost always pick up 2-4 spicy Jamaican Patties lmfao.

So many moments of him getting emotional and holding it together like a pro. Growing up in Montreal, we had only one type of Jamaican patty : Patty King. Ubiquitous. It was decent but I always suspected the OG patties in Jamaica or the homemade ones had to be out of this world. This video has confirmed my hunch. Edit: I think it’s beautiful how Jamaicans took the Cornish Pasty, which is - in all honesty - like all British food quite mediocre, and made it into something so wonderful and delightful and gave it back to the world ❤

i can't wait to go back to JA for some tastee patties .. love it!
When I was a kid there were several of our congregation members who were from Jamaica and one of the sisters use to make these for us but she wouldn't put the scotch bonnet peppers in the ones for the kids 🥰🥰 this really brought back memories...I loved her dearly...thank you now I'm going to attempt this recipe 😊😊
