How to make homemade Polish Pierogi with Mushroom and Sauerkraut (Melissa Wick)
I have always wanted to capture making my Grandma's (Babcia's) Pierogi on video so I have it forever. We created this opportunity to learn how Babcia makes her delicious homemade Mushroom and Sauerkraut Pierogi(s).
Meet my family (some of them), and my friends who became family as we have fun making these tasty little yummers.

Prepping all of my kraut mix now. Next will make my potatoes. Going to Saturday Mass. Putting all in fridge and tomorrow I am spending the day making them!!! Loved your video..;)

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe! I go to my local Polish Festival the biggest one) every year here in Portland, Oregon and I always get 5 orders of the pierogi kapusta-mushroom sauerkraut pierogi. They are my favorite food on the planet!

Oh, this is so very special! Thank you for sharing this video! My Babcia passed away many years ago now, and I miss her very much. I remember making perogi with her and my Coicia Irene on Christmas Eve. They are still my favorite of all polish foods. You are so blessed to have your Babcia with you. I have tried to remember her recipes from memory but it's so difficult to do. I am thankful for things like this and people who do document our heritage. God bless all of you and your family. Best to you. I haven't looked further yet, but if you have any soup recipes, please share!

This is where the inspiration came from to make this video - having these recipes recorded to review when I feel called to make Babcias food (of course it will never taste the same as babcia makes it!). Thank you for your comment, thoughts and kind words. All the best to you!
i dont rinse or cook my saurkraut, cause i make homemade. Do you hace family recipe for saurkraut?
