How to make homemade chocolate ice cream| Wendy's frosty clone
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Today we are going to slow down a bit and I am going to show you how I make some homemade chocolate ice cream. This is going to taste as close to a Wendys frosty that you can get at home.
1/2 gallon chocolate milk. find a fatty one
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
1 thing of cool whip

This is completely awesome! It makes a full gallon of ice cream in case anyone is wondering.
After my electric motor stops, I proceed with manual cranking at higher speed to compensate thickness of mixture. If you leave the canister sitting unmoved it will soften. So I crank periodically until ready to serve.
The towel in top helps keep the ice from melting as fast on a hot day!!! Helps to hold the cold in.
Wendy's frosty, you gotta make some French fries to pair it with. Lol.

Pour melting left overs into an ice tray.....store in freezer. Then when ready for one add some of the cubes to a blender until smooth. :)

Don't need to. Hot air rises, cool air sinks. Your holding in the warmer air,and it's being heated more by the motor as it sits there. . Just let it breathe
Thank you so much. I have a similar ice cream maker but I was afraid to try it.

Its just the regular size cool whip. 8 OZ.
Could you do this with regular milk to make a vanilla frosty.. maybe add some vanilla? 🤔
@TheHollarBBQ

Lisa Fowler problem would be it would not be as sweet. Maybe add a little sugar and some vanilla.

I decided to experiment. In order to make a vanilla frosty, I used whole milk instead of chocolate, added a 1/2 cup of sugar, and a tablespoon+ of vanilla extract. Whipped cream and sweetened condensed milk remained the same. Came out perfect (for us). I could see adding some Kahlua or Bailey's. As an added bonus, when the ice cream was done we did a challenge to see who could keep their hand in the subfreezing water the longest. Enjoy!

Add eggs
Wondering how long did it take from start time to finish?

It’s maybe 2 to 2 and half hours. As long as you keep it in the ice it will stay frozen for a long time. Thanks for watching.

It most likely will not get cold enough. But hey try it and let me know. Depending on where you are its probably cold enough to just throw it outside and let nature do it’s thing. Thanks for watching.
it's cheaper just to buy a gallon

Check you bucket for leaks. It is normal for salt water to run out of port/drain. It does this to preven salt walter from seeping into canister.
