Thank you so much for this! This long guide is really helpful and shows the ropes of how this Papercrafting gig works. I’m trying to make Egyptian Themed Terrain.

Those look great! :) I love crafting intricate goodies for D&D, but don't always have enough time from scratch. This is a really great compromise for making quick, fantastic looking goodies for the table in a pinch! First, going to try his free hovel + coach house with your method and see how it goes. Thanks for the helpful tips!

Wow this is new....to me anyway. I wanted to make bookshelf model buildings and backlight them somehow. You just gave me an idea.

I've been doing this since WorldWorks Games first began making Paper models. If you use a combination of Matboard and Foamcore, you can reinforce any paper model, from props to buildings. I did full interiors with opening doors and windows you could look through. Great to see someone keeping this tradition alive.

Do you plan on adding any grass tufts or flock to the builds? They look great as is, just wondering :)

Have you thought about printing the textures on printable label sheets? That's something I will give a try since my laser printer does not print that good on card stock. For gluing I am using a glue pen. Glue sticks don't work very good for me, because I can't achieve a smooth surface with them.

I’ll have to get one of those glue pens too.

For my 15mm wargaming I'll just print the builds on cut-out sheets of flexible poster board. they would be plenty study for about 1/100th scale.

im going to get balsa wood just so i can stop making those tiny beams. what kind of cardstock do you use? it looks glossy and cool. Instead of playing on the inside, I just use the buildings as overworld stuff. Since most of the interiors are too small to actually become any feasible. I like to print out 2d house interiors and glue it on thin cardboard and bust it out on the side whenever the players go into a building.

Ok, so im new to scale modeling, what kind of paper/card & thickness of paper & foam board are you using? Ive printed a Lil set out on 100gsm matt paper but looks a bit crappy ( i did buy 150gsm but i dont think it will change the outcome). A lil help would be awesome :) Liked & subbed :)

If you had to choose one, would you choose Fat Dragon or Dave Graffam's paper terrain? I'm deciding and can't make up my mind... (PS: I can't seem to play the video, it kept bugging out for some reason).
