    Thank you for commenting and trying out the recipe. This recipe is my family and friends favorite. One day you should cook over a hot pan with marinade and everything. Once the shrimp is done, serve over white rice and pour some marinade (that was cooked in the pan) and serve over rice. the flavor is even stronger and its also AMAZING!!!! Cheers and keep on grilling!

    Hi Yelena, thank you so much for commenting. You can also try cookig the marinade and shrimp on a tall pan for about 5 minutes or until you see the shrimp are done. It tastes even better, smells fantastic and goes very well over rice. Just be very careful of the oil because it can easily catch on fire thats why I recommend a tall pan or even a pot. Thanks again for your kind words, this made my day.

    BigMan!!!!!!!!! Thanks man, I appreciate your comments. Let me know how it comes out. I have some recommendations. Since the shrimp only takes 2.5 minutes on each side, Try just one and see how it goes because every grill is different. Once you are happy with the results, then throw them all in. Especially if you are doing it with charcoal. If you have a digital thermometer, the internal temp of shrimp should be 120 degrees (I forgot to metion this on the video) Dont forget the lemon in the end, it make a world of a difference too.

I always do all these for my friends and family and they usually pick the shrimp over all the other recipes. I live in NJ so it can get really cold in the winter time. You can also pour the shrimp and marinade on a hot pan and just cook for a few minutes until the shrimp get cooked and serve the shrimp over rice with a little of the marinade over the rice. Trust me, very very good! Good luck! let me know if you tried this recipe, cheers and keep on grilling!

    Thank you Erick! This is another comment that made my day. It sounded like a very romantic evening. Awesome! If you enjoyed the recipe, try cooking the shrimp on a pan with the marinade for two to 4 minutes or until you see that the shrimp is fully cooked. Serve it over rice and your life will never be the same, if you don't eat rice, just serve it with the sauce, trust me you guys, you will love it. In my opinion, it tastes even better than when grilled. Cheers and thank again!

    When I first tasted the marinade, I was highly skeptical that this would work. But Oh My Word - this marinade is awesome! It really compliments the flavour of the prawns. The only caveat I found was that marinating them for a long period destroyed the flavour of the prawns and made them rubbery. I suspect the lemon juice was to blame. Marinating for 30-60 minutes seems to work perfectly - I would not suggest exceeding that by much. Twice I marinated the prawns for a good 8+ hours, and both times they failed to impress. That being said, when it works, this recipe is absolutely amazing. Many thanks for sharing!!

  • @grillingwithpitarqui2457

    @grillingwithpitarqui2457

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hello Robby, thank you very much for commenting and for asking a very interesting question. I would suggest 30 seconds on each side if the shrimp is already cooked and thawed over extreme heat or directly on fire. There are many factors that are involved like hot hot your grill is, the size of your shrimp, the temp of your shrimp when they are put in the grill, etc. Since the shrimp is already cooked you want to grill it over extreme heat or fire for a very short amount of time. This kind of reminds me of the reverse sear method but you are skipping the slow cook part because the shrimp is already cooked . The best thing to do is to just to try 1 shrimp on a skewer and test to see if 30 seconds on each side is enough for the results you are looking for. If you have it over direct fire maybe 30 seconds on each side can be too much and then try 15 on each. You have to just experiment with one shrimp at a time until you get the results you want because your grill is different than mine. Please let me know what worked for you in case someone asks me the same thing in the future. Also, I am very curious to know if you are using the marinade on the video for your pre cooked shrimp. I hope this information helps you, let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers Robby and keep on grilling!

Please be patient, i will be making more videos in the near future.
