This is super fantastic! Nevertheless, is Clipchamp not being too late in adopting the "Silence Trimmer" that eliminates the "silence and the um, um" sections of the Timeline video?! Thanks.

That would be sooooo useful for me as I have the stupid habit of dropping an "ummm ummmm" in like every 2 seconds. I either need to fix myself or Clipchamp needs to add the Silence Trimmer.

why there is no option of voice over in clipchamp if there is then please make a video on it

We currently don't have a voice over feature in Clipchamp, however you can either split the part of your clip you want a voice over and then mute that clip, then import your recording and place over the top of that clip. OR you could use our text to speech feature, which allows you to import a voice over using a text to speech generated audio. Hope this helps! :)

Can I add Clipchamp background effect if I'm on video without green screen background or any other solid single-coloured background?

Yes, you can add any effect to any background :) However, the green screen effect will only work with a green screen background.

Just split the part you want to voice over apart from the rest of the video, mute that specific part, and then add a recording file (made with Windows Voice Recorder) below that part over in the sound layer. Hope that helps :)

Is there a way to have the online version linked to the desktop one? It seems there is a 100% disconnect between the tow 😞

You sure can! Just navigate to the import media button, select your own background, then drag and drop it into the timeline

They have moved it around, sound and video is in content library (I think that is what it is called now)

there isnt any green screen filter

Yep there is! Head to the "effects" tab in the property panel, scroll until you find "green screen"

All of my filters are greyed out, so can't use them, and there is no video library either!!
