    I love love LOVE that you don't freak out about the little cross-contamination --- such level-headed practicality is refreshing. And thanks for the real talk about the variations and preferences and differences between cheeses...and why they turned out that way. It's extremely helpful. P.S. More cheese videos please!!

Ive found the descriptors you give are helpful markers for me to watch/look for, INCLUDING the comment on other bacterias that may, or may not,. be introduced, which could impact your final result. Really wonderful vids! Im a 65 yr old California fangirl!! Im going to make my first bath of Gouda, then going to make Brie (yes, as a beginner, Im daring like that!). Hope I can eventually make a double, or even tripe cream Brie! (one can only wish, right?)

    What colloidal silver brand do you use? And what ppm is the silver you add to help prevent yeast growth in fresh pressed cheeses? And what % hydrogen peroxide do you recommend and how much per gallon of milk to add? I have not had success getting these answers on google. Ive had trouble with yeast in cheese for years... And this is the first ive heard of ways to possibly prevent it! Thanks in advance!

    My first time watching a homemade cheese video, very concise and easy to follow. Great job. Maybe I missed it, after vacuum packing, out the door you went to storage? Where? Freezer, cool cellar, pantry, refrigerator? What is best please. Not that it would last long here. I grew up in Minnesota where cheese, sausage, and brats are 3 of the 5 major food groups. 😃 TYFS

    I am debating on what cheese to try next. Gouda, Asiago, or cheddar! I’ve had cows since 2018 but was kind of intimidated by cheesemaking so I only made things like mozzarella, quark, etc. The “easy” ones. I’m ready to branch out! My butter cheeses have been turning out great so I think I’m ready!

    Such a great tutorial, thank you! I've done your Belper Knoll lots, your cheddar (turns our wonderful) and I think I'll try this, it doesn't look too hard-we only have a heat smoker, would that destroy it? Anyhow, we so appreciate your wonderful educational videos, thanks you lovely girls! Mary Kay and family

  • @fourseasonsnorth

    @fourseasonsnorth

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi Mary Kay :) yes, if you use a heat smoker that could possibly get it too hot and melt it... We have gotten ours too hot sometimes, and it's still good, but it just gets a 'cooked-ness' about it and doesn't age as usual. If you can do something to keep the heat down that'd be best (a rule of thumb we use: if it's too hot for your skin it's probably too hot for the cheese). All the best! super glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for commenting :) Bless you guys!

    F. M. Amein the better question is: Why does Almighty God have a son? Truly, God Almighty has no need for a Son other than for the purpose of acquiring a human body so he could die on the cross for our sins. Are you mocking this? Why? Why is this truth mocked as being "impossible," or utterly offensive? Because people are proud, they don't like or want a God that is humble, they want a God that is as mighty as they wish they were, and as proud as they are. They don't know that God the Father never asks us to do what he himself won't do. God is not a hypocrite. He tells us to be humble, because he is humble. His humility is what keeps his great power under control. He is so humble that he himself became a man, his own Son, Jesus, to die for us, thus proving his great love for us. Meanwhile, Satan, God's enemy, is proud and tells people the lie that they can become a god through forbidden knowledge, and he demands they offer selfish sacrifices to him, like child sacrifice, something God hates. God tells us, his sheep, that we are to lay down our life for our friends, like he did, and that because evil people desired to kill him, they would also desire to kill us, so we are to go to the slaughter for his name's sake, just as he did for us. Do you now see "why" God became a man, his own Son, Jesus? Now undoubtedly, you will mock and say it's "impossible" for God the Father to be his own Son, much less become a man. Those who say this don't know who God is, for nothing is impossible for God Almighty, and they don't love him for his humility, so they make idols for themselves. I hope and pray you will humbly ask Jesus to reveal the Father to you, and he will, just as he did for his disciple Philip and for me.❤️
