Dave, golf cart regulations vary from state to state. This is why the kit comes with a on-the-fly programmer which the customer has to get the app to set up the speed and before it can be saved in the app the customer has to click the "customer accepts all liability" before it can be programmed for higher speeds. Just so you know in SC you ONLY need insurance and a $5.00 one time DMV sticker to drive the cart within 4 miles of your residence on 35 mph roads and you can cross over higher speed limit roads.
