Sounds so good. Love that they had a little sugar on top. Great idea to put in the zest from the beginning when you are creaming the butter. I’ll have to try these out soon with my kids.

Make me a lemon poppy seed cake, cookie, bar..mmm, anything lemon and it's gone before it hits the plate 🍽️🍋. I can imagine this sans the sugar coat and with a thick coating of sugar frosting, ala American Hispanic panaderia style 🤤 Big Yellow Thumb Up 🍋👍

I make a similar cookie recipe sometimes, Graham so I'm sure these are just scrumptious :) I love that Ancient Greek saying.... 😂 I don't normally use the zest anymore, I use the juice and lemon extract. I'll have to try them with some zest sometime soon!! I wish I could have a couple of these with a cup of coffee right now 😍🍋👍🏻

Try this, leave out the egg & drop the oven down to like 300-350 and cook them a bit longer!

How many cookies does this make? And, could I use lime or orange juice instead?😬

@@MrSuperPsymon depends how big you make them, I normally get around two dozen. Lime should be fine, just limit the total amount of liquid you add to a similar amount

I added a drop of yellow food coloring to make it a little prettier for the camera (it looks red when it's concentrated), but I don't think it did much!

At 1:30 mins mark, was it a yellow food coloring? or orange?

Yellow food coloring, but it didn't really need it. I just wanted to make sure it looks like lemon for the camera 😉

You say "Baking Soda" in the video, but the recipe lists "Baking Powder". Which is best for chewy cookies?

Whoops! Good catch. I used baking soda, I'll have to correct the written recipe. Which one you use won't have much of an impact on the chewiness I wouldn't say, baking powder is essentially just baking soda plus cream of tartar. I think, fact check me! 😉
