I am so happy you showed how to clean, and get that stuff out of the cavity because a lot of folks don't know to do that, and I also pull the skin back and get the extra slim off, great job.

Thank you so much for showing folks how to clean the chicken. There are folks who just do not know how to do that and it does affect the taste and texture of your food. Another great tutorial.👍👍👍💕💕
I really appreciate it that you speak so clearly and take us through it step by step. Trying this for the first time today. Never realized the junk I left on my chicken before and I've been cooking for many years. And, I'm a good cook too. But your way of cleaning the chicken is very thorough. Thank you.

You are amazing. I love how you show everything in segments.
I really enjoyed your video. I can't say anyone ever told me how to clean chicken. I do it the same way, I just been taking off all the stuff I thought was gross but my grandmother did teach me how to get rid of the hair, she would hold it over the flame of the gas stove. I did learn something from you though, I didn't know that little trick about cutting the leg off. I can't tell you how many times I just about cut myself. Thanks for lessening. You're a good host, loved the video.
Thank you so much for your instructions on how to cook fried chicken. The BEST fried chicken I ever had was when I visited Biloxi, MS, and I have never been able to duplicate it. I cannot wait to try out your recipe which I am doing tomorrow.
This is delicious!!! I've made it several times and the family even ask for it!!! This is a MUST TRY! ❤

I might be older than you, it goes to show you never gets to old to learn how to do old things in a new way, saving chicken broth, and and putting it in a ice tray and use it as needed Thank you so much and God bless 🙏🏾🌹

Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I never knew how to cut and clean chicken ( or leg quarters) until now.
I use lime or lemon 🍋 to remove the slime. Cut em in half and rub across the slime and it lifts it straight off
I made this today with your dirty rice recipe. My grandson loved it as well as I. I am originally from NC and your recipes remind me of my grandmother and aunts cooking. Excellent.
OMG I ALWAYS BAKE THAT WAY ,JUST DIDN'T KNOW I COULD USE . THE CHICKEN DRIPPINGS I ALWAYS THROW IT OUT THANK YOU MOMMAS NOW I SAVE THE BROTH. LOT OF LOVE, GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS.

Thank you so much for this great video... much love and respect.
Awesome bake chicken recipe! I’m going to try it today. Thank you.
I love all of your cooking (chicago) style keep it coming
I used your recipe for drumsticks and thighs already cut up. Didn't have any poultry seasoning so I used a homemade version I found online that worked out very well. Used the adobo with the red cap and really like how the spice mix really seasoned my chicken. And I am definitely saving the broth for cornbread dressing.
So doing this, especially with the winter months coming need to have that broth for soups!
Thanks! Been cooking for years but I never thought to save & use that chicken broth...I WILL be doing this now that you suggested it!!!
Thanks Chris for the video on cleaning and baking the best fried chicken. Southern fried chicken is the best.

Where have you been all my life? I am 65 and wish I had had the instruction you are giving here back when I was a teenager. My mom didn't really like to cook and didn't do much in the way of actually making meals. You go with what you know so my daughter grew up the same way I did. Now she wants me to start writing some recipes out for her. Guess where they are coming from? Yes, yes, yes right here. Thank you so much.
