Hello, @ScottFichter. Thank you for attending to the details in your tutorials. I have this challenge is there anything I can do to stop the OBS preview screen from losing the layout I've set up? Thank you in advance.

Thanks. Great video. I definitely love chapters. I'm a university professor and I use them all the time. One question: you seem to record yourself and your screen as separate videos and then post process them. Do you do this with two OBS instances running or some other trick?

Gibberblot, My videos are produced with software called Camtasia. If I were to use OBS to achieve what I do in my videos it would take 40 hours instead of 10. Here's more info on it. kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKGNpsx8l9PUaNY.html

@@ScottFichter Tanks for the reply, Scott! I use Davinci for editing, but I didn't realise Camtasia records to separate tracks like that. I'll look into it. Please keep up the great work!

@@gibberblot Yep! Davinci is amazing. I love that editor. Camtasia will take in a mic, system sound, your system screen, and the camera recording your face. It's damn nice let me tell ya. Best wishes.
Good one. I could not save the wipe.json file after editing in notepad. No biggie, just wondering what I did wrong. It kept saying that I didn't have authority. Probably a Windows thing.

Hey Karl, that's correct. Damn, you have to change your permissions for your user account when you log onto your computer. If it's a work computer you'll have to talk to IT and tell them you need the power to alter the OBS folder.
Hello Scott. I have a question. I have seen on the news a slide that tells people what they are going to be talking about next. Do you know a easier way to make a slide like this? I tried PP but it didn't work in obs.

You mean a lower third that highlights the topic your talking about and when you change the topic the lower third changes?

anyone wanna point me to a tutorial that shows me how to make a greyscale with with gradient like this?
@ScottFichter
2 жыл бұрын
I don't have one as of yet. As you can imagine I'm drowning in video ideas. No joke. I have to make decisions where I place my efforts because I'm running a business, and as you can imagine time is limited. The bottom line is to create a gradient shape and then place a global transparent gradient over top of the entire design so that no grey color is the same throughout the design. In other words every pixel in the design has its own unique greyscale color. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for the sub my friend.
