Tip for a faster process: all you need to do is inside the if score > high score block put the SET HighscorePlayer block under the high score block then put a USERNAME block at the number area of the HighscorePlayer

if you want to show numbers, remove the script that converts the numbers to text.

Cloud variables are very glitchy, and so they don't always work. It's not your fault, and it'll probably be fixed. For example - It worked for me in 1 project, and didn't in another one.

for some reason, after I get the highscore, it doesn't save, when I press the green flag it resets the highscore, display and others

The High score player wasn't working so I used just the Player DisPlay but it worked

I made a version of capital and not capital letters, I used costumes(Griffpatch said,’Costumes can detect capital letters.’

yea but then, "score > highscore", if highscore is a cloud varaible, how does it keep track of the highest highscore of that individual player. Like, if a player gts the highscore of 100, and another gets 55, even if the 55 IS the highest score of that player, it won't change the highscore, because that player's highscore is not higher than the OTHER PLAYER'S highscore.

The "cloud highscore" is the highest ANYONE has scored in the game, it doesn't keep track of every single player.

Either there's a coding mistake, or it is scratch cloud problem.

I think you forgot that scratch usernames cant contain symbols other than - and _ LoL

You need to be a "Scratcher" to get access to cloud variables. You must be "New Scratcher" if you don't see cloud variables. Check your profile page to know about it.

You must be new to scratch, and so you have the "New Scratcher" status on the website (see it on your profile below the name) Once you make a lot of projects and get some followers, and you follow some people, it'll become "Scratcher" Then you will get cloud variable option

You must be a "new scratcher" Use scratch for a while and you'll get a notification saying "you're now a scratcher" Only then you'll be able to make cloud variables
