Play around and get some values that work for yours. 2) If you experience errors, that's completely fine! It's crucial you learn how to debug your games efficiently. You can add a piece of code that tilts the bird based off of how much its falling. The code is: Point in direction[speed/gravity * 5-10(Depending on how much you want it to tilt)]

thank you so so SOOO much for uploading this. i've seen this about 1 year ago and until now i still use the y speed technique, and i won a competition too! thanks

You can also change the sprite to a different position allowing it to look like it is actually flapping

Right after the "change Score by 1" coding for the pipe You can add a coin or collect sound so every time you made it through you can hear your point getting earn (make sure you use start sound and not play sound until done, or the game will pause every time the sound is played) You can also do the same with every time you die by putting the sound code right at the very end of the "when click" bird code. Have fun

You could add some extras like make the wings flap, make the bird rotate upwards when flapping, a death effect and animation, more quality, and some more to spice up the game... Sure it would be alot of work but It'll look good... But you might end up getting some errors if you're a beginner...

Works great, the only down side is that you can fly to the top and never die lol

Someone in the comments made me remeber a cool history. We were having Portuguese classes (because i'm Brazilian), and then my teacher said for us to literally make a game about portuguese. I used TurboWarp to do it, and then, my teacher literally recommended for EVERYONE in my class to make a game in TurboWarp. And, for this "homework", I made a Baldis Basics inspired game by following Griffpatch's Raycasting tutorial series. And... I needed to help another 2 groups because they didn't know Scratch (Actually no one knew TurboWarp/Scratch other than me). Was very fun. My group won btw. Edit: I still have this project's .sb3 file on my laptop!

Actually the code for the pipe doesn't work, For people that can't do the code then follow this code : When flag clicked Go to x : 240 y : pick random to -20 and 60 repeat until *what the bird sprite is named* move -10 steps if x position go to x : 240 y : pick random to -20 and 60 change score by 1 Hope this helps. because the code in the video was glitching the pipes. (This code i typed here worked)

If youre lazy to use variables, u can do this: When flag clicked Go to X and Y Set direction to 90 Repeat until touches pipes { Turn (gravity) degress Move 1 step Set x position to X If press Space then { Set direction to 45 } } Send Game over This is a easy way to do without variables.
