Visit www.linkedmeals.com for the recipe.
Please hit the thumbs up if you liked the video!
Today I am visiting the luxury hotel Cuesta Serena Boutique Hotel in Huaraz, Peru. The chef Jhon shows how to make the best ceviche ever. Ceviche is prepared differently depending on which area you are in, this is the classic way ceviche is prepared in the andes of Peru.

Hi,
I'm Amanda and I run this foodblog/vlog called linked meals.
The mission of this foodblog is to find all the best recipes that runs in families and gets forwarded amongst friends, and to bring them into light.
The method for bringing all these recipes, from all around the globe to your dinner table is called “linked meals”. It all starts with one person, free to prepare a dish of choice. We’ll prepare the dish together. The real adventure starts when the plates have been emptied; the host proposes the next storyteller from their social network and the procedure repeats, linking another interesting meal to the chain. Who knows where we’ll end up and which recipes this blog will bring you?
Together we’ll experience incredible recipes accompanied by equally amazing stories! Hidden food-gems will be brought into light, and I encourage you to pass them along to your friends and family.
The food blog is vego inspired, which means that there will be no recipes made of meat. We do welcome fish and seafood - a blog perfect for pescotarians. Maybe you’re interested of eating more vegetarian food? If so, this is the place for you to find inspiration.
The music we use in the video comes from www.bensound.com and KZread's own music library.

This man is a dreamer. I’ve driven through Huacho on my way to Caral, and he is being very modest about how small it is we’re he is from. He has very humble beginnings. And to become a world class chef is pretty cool. Keep going, I’m rooting for you Jhon ✨
Excelente mi querido Jhon, sabes que te aprecio, está super, ese platillo, espero que todo te vaya de maravilla...¡Arriba Perú!
I have seen 3 how to make peruvian ceviche videos and ALL of them the hosts look like they are about to smash. I guess ceviche has magical powers as they say.

Thankyou so much for your recipe. Just made it here in Sydney Australia. My Peruvian wife she was so impressed and happy. Was really delicious. First time Silvia and I had Cerviche Trout was in a great restaurant ... Don Antonio's at Urubamba, Peru on our way to Machu Pichu. This will be permanently on our household menu. Thankyou 🙂😋
Great video. I did not think the translator was overpowering. Extremely enjoyable. I am always intested in a different version of a recipe. It’s all in someone’s taste buds.
He has obviously mastered this recipe in every direction. Why is this not already Michelin quality?
Good luck on your dream to work in Europe, i was living there for a while and for a Chef it will be even better than you hope.

I watched already couple ceviche recipes but thisone looks really good. I am still not sure what kind of fish to use.. is it always river fish or any particular? thanks

This one was truly amazing! Best ceviche I ate in South America. You can use any fish, here we use the river fish because it was local and therefore fresh for this area. As long as you use a fresh fish it's OK. They do differ a bit in the consistency but the way to find it which one you like the most is by trying. Good luck!!

They typically use halibut or even tilapia

You can use any fish. It will very by region. But a good rule of thumb. Look for a firm, white, flaky fish. Trial and error. Good luck and good eats!
GASTON SABE SABROSO TU CEVICHE CON MANJAR BLANCO!!!
feels like some details are skipped. not filmed or mentioned. the sauce had a liquid in it, where did the liquid come from. about the point where they mention the limes. you never see then squeeze lime juice into the sauce bowl and they don't actually say "squeeze lime into the sauce bowl". In fact I see the chef cut the limes and place the halves in a separate bowl.
LA VERDAD SÓLO UN PERUANO O PERUANA TIENE LAS MANOS QUÉ HACEN SABROSA NUESTRA COMIDA

They’re all eating from the same dish why does that matter? It’s not for some client they’re eating it on the spot
@shakesit

@@adonaim58355 I would not want to eat at any place the Chef spits in the food or uses 1 spoon to keep tasting things without washing it. You can use a spoon to pour into a tasting bowl or taste & put the spoon it the wash. This is a lazy careless act & would get you fired from any good kitchen. Anyone that can't see this should not be near a kitchen that serves the public. What next scratching your balls while making bread?
@adonaim58355

@@shakesit again he’s cooking for himself at the time of the video not for a client, they’re all sharing spit in the plate I just don’t understand what stick went so far up your ass that you felt the need to be so petty as to undermine someone with a decade under their belt simply because of a stupid careless act.

@@adonaim58355 You have a problem with the truth don't you?
Too complicated and too long video
It’s gross how he tasted the food with the spoon and put it back in the dish. What kind of cook is that with 10 years of experience?
It gets on my nerves all the translation. Speak either English or spanish
I found the girl annoying 😒 and we needed a close up of the food
