@@quantumparadox3075 thats if its a rounded off teaspoon exactly, which it looks like it was much more than that. I trust the dudes knowledge/skills, but seems like he was going for TBS, but then thought he wants more flavor, haha. But with 81 likes on original comment, most us know what a TBS of powdered paprika looks like, I thought it was more immediately, then read this first comment.

Glam Monster if you add 8-10 probiotic capsule powder, then strain it through cheesecloth for a couple of days, then mound it into a round, you can let it mature for two to three weeks, and you will have a sliceable cheese.
I made this today and it turnt out amazing. It was so good. I ate it with tortilla chips

You can also add miso paste, it blends well with the nutritional yeast, gives that tang also that some cheeses have. It really works, my husband loves it that way.

There are other things you can add to give it a better taste than salt and pepper. For example, pimentos for color will help make it have the color of the cheese. Basil without the pimentos will give it a pesto flavor, etc.

how long for it's shelter life?
Add tapioca starch and or potato starch to make it more thick and stretchy. And also add nutritional yeast for cheese like flavor

The most remarkable thing about this video is the "food processor." I bought one just like it for $20, including the hand blender with two attachments and the "processor." The blender was fine, but the processor? I had the processor replaced three times, just after I bought the set, until I finally gave up. Either the lid did not fit properly or the plastic in the blade piece melted or was ground - in the course of mixing flours! So hats off to the Chef for getting it to perform for the duration of this recipe.

i know this is a long time after you posted this video, but I made a dairy free lasagna for my daughter's birthday today and used this cashew cheese sauce in between the layers and on top. It was delicious! You really couldn't tell the difference. Everyone loved it! And also thanks for skipping the nutritional yeast. Who wants to feed people a cheese substitute loaded with MSG?!

Trumpet nutritional yeast has over 300% daily value of all the b vitamins per 1-2 tablespoon plus 8 grams of protein it also has iron calcium and fiber and little to no fat so it’s pretty damn nutritious.

Greetings from São Paulo, Brazil. Hello Tiger chef. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. But I believe you made a Cashew Puree very good and delicious! Cheese needs to be fermented and coagulated. It's pressed and the whey is removed leaving a solid part, protein, casein. It's a dairy product that follows a process of coagulation of the milk. In case of a vegetarian cheese, in other to have the coagulation process, it needs to add a fungus or some probiotic elements. You need to have the fermentation going. Once you reach the cheese product, keep it in the fridge to stop the process of fermentation. Voila! You got your veggie cheese! Your Cashew recipe could be Cashew Mayonnaise, or Cashew Puree, or Cashew Fufu, or Cashew Moi Moi (Afrucan dishes), but never a cheese recipe. I appreciate you and your work. Keep it up. Hugs.

Actually, cashews are quite toxic and less they have been through a burning fire process. It is a very interesting process and you can find it on KZread. So no cashew is actually Raw that we buy in the store.

go to amazon.com and purchase the book The non-dairy formulary I purchased that book two years ago and it taught me how to make mozzarella block cheese, tofu cheesecake, vegan parmesan ricotta cheese etc. that book changed my life!;)

Myoko Shinner has a book called Vegan Pantry, she makes proper cheese, also amazing butter. This is just a cashew cream with paprika, it's not cheese.

4:03 it's not new for me. It's called peanut sauce for Indonesian salad or satay (in Malaysia as well) with some extra ingredients. You just replace it with cashew instead of peanut
That looked like a teaspoon of garlic you put in, not a tablespoon.

Got this from Jill McKeever, Simple Daily Recipes. We really liked it. Can look up her KZread to see it made. Really Cheesy Fat-Free Vegan Cheese Dip Makes about 3 cups 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/4 cup nutritional yeast 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/4 cup roasted red bell pepper 1/4 cup yellow onion 2 cups water 2 tablespoons lemon juice Place all ingredients in a blender and process several until well blended. Pour into a saucepan, cook and stir over medium heat until it thickens, in less than 5 minutes.

alot of the vegan cheese videos use over-hyped vitamix blended ( requiring second mortgage on house to pay for)
not cheese, but okay. tastes more like hummus
My only issue with this is that he didn't scrape the sides to get all that stray garlic in 😅
