How to Make Cake Balls or Cake Pops! 🌷🌷🌷

Today's video is all about making cake balls! I'm using two flavors of cake, chocolate and vanilla. I baked two boxed cake mixes using two 9-inch pans for each but only used 1 pan of each flavor. (I used the other two to make an actual cake, lol) In this video I'll walk you through each step in the cake ball making process. I bought my melting candies from Hobby Lobby, the brand is called "Make 'N Mold".

I would like to make this for a party. How do you store these after i make them? and how long do they last before getting stale?

    Can you use coconut oil?

Yes, you can use coconut oil to thin out the melting candies. Any odorless, flavorless oil will work. Some coconut oils have a hint of coconut taste to them. If you don't mind that, then go for it. 😊

Can you use white chocolate bar to melt and put our cake ball's in?

Yes, absolutely! There's a brand from Walmart called "Almond Bark" in their baking section. It comes in white or milk chocolate. You can melt it the same way I do, using the microwave. Also, the brand "Make 'N Mold" chocolate does come in white chocolate as well, if you want to stick with the same brand I use.

I'm sorry! You're right I didn't show how I set the cake balls up to dry. I did show what you need, or rather what I use, to set them up to dry at 1:51. I made another more updated cake pops video that does show the drying process, if you want to see it in action. Here's that link, kzread.info/dash/bejne/fJaWyaWzpaWpnpc.htmlsi=VIo3cAnQ3dlrFHrp&t=188 and it's three minutes and eight seconds into the video. I hope this helps! 😊

Don't put vegetable oil in anything. Use coconut oil instead.
