In my country it's not usual that one person assumes "rounds", each one orders its own drinks and at the end the bill is splitted between number of people involved.

Hi there!! Yes, this custom is sometimes done in Spain as well. However, be careful, it should happened only when you are with close friends, three or four max. On the contrary, if there many more people your could be scam from someone who is not honest and do not return the favour.

Ally, what happens of the Someone who doesn't drink too much is in a group of many? Does the person have to consider whether going out with a large or a small group? Bruv, that sucks! The way you expose that makes us think everyone drinks. However, I myself would be the odd one out in group for instance🤷🏻‍♂️ In Brazil, something that happens in bars, restaurants and stuff, when someone is joyfull or celebrating something special in life, is to say "esta rodada é por minha conta", meaning that person os offering a drink to everyone in the party, normally beer.
