Another great video demo! Electribe2 is my groove machine, it is a great grove box with two exceptions; needs good effects OR at least 6 outputs. IF Korg's next Electribe has more outputs I will be in.

This version sounds so much better then the old Electribe's. I can't stand the sound of them, not to mention those damn knobs breaking on just about anybody who had that machine. 'Yeah man! these are great!'....sure dude -_- This sounds big and tight. Great filter sound, modulation sounds fat....

Some people say Electribes are toys in a despective manner, they are not. Filters and effects compensate the limitations from the mono sampler.

Stereo panning creates a big field if you use more than one pad for a single percussion source. You can also motion sequence using panning in subtle to extreme design.

Apologies for the dumb question I'm about to ask but I've read the ES2 manual multiple times and can't find the answer. Q: How do I play/arrange sliced samples? I've got one of the demo patterns loaded and one of the triggers (pad 2) is a timesliced vocal sample. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how/where to access/sequence all but the first slice of that sample. What button/combo do I press to get all that sample's slices playable on the pads?

Great! Demonstrations are appreciated. But we miss some of the story if your display screen is too bright and we can't read the settings. Screen brightness and contrast can be fiddled so as to be picked up on video. Or turn up the room lights.. In the Filter Section you can press the Low Pass, High Pass or Band Pass button several times to flip between many types of filters. If you press Part Mute twice in a row, it will flash. The next button or set of buttons you press will play Solo (it will be the only thing playing, all the other parts disappear). To get back all parts at once rather than press individual part pads, hold Shift and then hit Part Mute!

Dracopol that's just my camera. I mentioned if there's anything necessary to know in the screen. When it was mandatory I brought the camera close. I didn't mention every single function just the ones I used. I actually don't even own this anymore.

Hello I see you have a Circuit sitting next to the Electribe. Do you, by any chance, use them often together? I would like to hear your opinion if the Circuit complements the Electribe well, or rather overlaps with it. Reason being, I want to get an E2 as a replacement for my Circuit. I have loved love my OG Circuit for 3 years, but I can't click with its synth engines. The editor is a pain for me personally, I like to exclude my pc from all music making activities as much as possible. Even changing samples on the Circuit feels like a chore to me. I like the Electribe because all sounds are onboard, and I dont have to go browsing for samples which is very much overwhelming regarding how many (bad ones) are out there. I find myself pattern/project hopping around, never finishing anything basically because I can't get it to sound just the way I would want to. Also the pattern interface is something I never got really used to. Since I most likely can not justify having both the E2 and the Circuit, I wonder which strengths the Circuit could bring alongside the Electribe. Other than the Circuits sequencer, I don't see many reasons to keep it. Thanks and have a nice day.

Well the two boxes are wildly different. E2 does not have an easy and fast step sequencing workflow if you like to enter in notes manually, like I do. Before you quit circuit have you even tried my howl free preset pack?

I have been watching them, though I'm not sure which one will teach me exactly where to start out. My current issue is, I can edit patterns now, but I don't know how to add parts(?) or I can edit parts(?) but I don't know how to add patterns. I can't really explain it. If I am editing a pattern (I think it's a pattern, if not it's a part, I don't quite yet understand the terminology), it's 16 steps. There's no way to add another pattern, at least no obvious way. I'd love to see a "totally new? watch this to understand the basic workflow" video.
