I really like how you always say what you would have done differently, most people don't do that

Thanks Jimmy!
I really appreciate how you don’t over exaggerate when you speak like so many KZreadrs like when you lost some footage in this video you said it so simply “I lost the footage there.” I’ve seen so many KZreadrs “OMG IM SO SO SO SORRY I TOTALLY LOST THAT FOOTAGE PLEASE DONT HATE ME.” It takes up so much time and sounds so obnoxious. Anyways random thought. Also I love how you don’t complain or whine. It makes your videos so enjoyable. Very professional

Your work is great to Carl Jacobson
Iltms. The bob ross of woodworking. You know you're not going to follow along, but you watch the because he's amazing.
Thank you, this project has inspired me to make one for my daughters jewelery craft business. She uses the Square app & device. I'm planning on routing out the base and affixing a piece of 1/4" plate steel to provide additional baseload, as she goes to a lot of craft fairs outdoors. Also making a larger base to allow for a routed out well to hold her business cards.
I don't even have an iPad I just love binge watching these videos.

Haha same except I do have an iPad mini
The way you installed those threaded inserts is actually the best way I've tried. The inserts that have a hex head inside them can strip out VERY easily. A lot of the times even the hex-headed ones have recommendations right on the packaging to insert them like you did, with a bolt. Great video I want to make one of these for my mom now!

Interesting, I'll have to look more into that. I recently added some of the hex head inserts into the bed of my CNC and they worked great. I wonder how much the material has to do with it. Thanks for the info!
I Like To Make Stuff i personally think you are on of the best explaining DIY youtuber. And I am happy that you are not asking monet for the blueprints!!!!!!!!!!
Good stuff, thanks for sharing
the sawing sound @ 3:58 is so satisfying
I love your channel, it's really inspiring, and is really simple, and very easy to understand, and is calm, and helps more than other DIY channels. Keep it up, can't wait to see you at 1 million :)

Peter brown (youtuber) said "there's no such thing as too many clamps" when you see someone making something and gluing it you always see 8+ clamps
@ascottishguy9462

you need all the clamps
Thank you for telling us you make mistakes and how you corrected them. That is a man of integrity in action. Thank you for your tutorials and sharing your know how. Very well done!
I don't know why it feels so therapeutic for me to watch you make stuff I would never remotely need in my life.
I really like how you show step by step and you are the only youtuber that has original ideas a makes them. Your sick!
I like that a lot, it's a very clean and elegant design. Just discovered threaded inserts on my last project...very handy. I also like how you used the screws and left them exposed on top, it adds a nice contrast to the wood
It never fails. When I want inspiration for getting started on a project and do a search in KZread somehow ILTMS always shows up as an answer. Well done and THANKS!
This guy should seriously get recognition for best builder in the world! He can even make a double bed with storage! Wow . I wonder how he copes so long with all that tiredness
That turned out great and I like how it's multifunctional! Thanks for sharing.
Great! I have to say man, most KZreadrs who make things do it for no reason, but you do it for fun and for a reason. I think thats awsome and I love your videos!
Hey Bob! I just want to say that I like all your videos and it's cool to see how you are able to make so many useful and fun objects like the cash register, longboard, bike rack, and all of your other work. Keep it up!
Definitely gonna have to attempt this. Thanks for sharing.
I completely love your stuff. I just stumbled across one I hadn't seen what a great surprise. Thanks for your channel
Thanks for being kickass
My man! - Instant subscription to your Chanel.
Cool video and neat project! As for the table saw re-sawing, a zero clearance insert is a very nice bonus...

kludge1977 I have the same saw and what makes the insert plate difficult is that you can only make it 1/8" thick and strength becomes an issue. If Bob comes up with an effective solution, I'd love to see it.

rochat Good call, the plate is very thin, but I hadn't measured it yet. I wonder if a piece of plexi would work?
@rochat
10 жыл бұрын
I Like To Make Stuff 1/8" plexi or similar will be my next attempt. Gluing thicker stock to the bottom should stiffen it up, but another issue is that the insert plates only sit on three corners. One corner has no support and I don't know if that will cause any problems. I'll let you know if I figure something out before you do.
I would love to make this for my kids. They could use this for learning money, I play "cash register". Is a cool idea. Thanks for sharing.
Great design and build. Thanks for sharing.
You have an amazing channel with great inspiration. I am not a very hands on person but love to see your work. Great trait I like about you is how you are open about your mistakes and admit them instead of hiding it.. keep up the good work.
Would love to see version 2. Practical projects like this are great.
That must've took a long time to make! That looks absolutely amazing!!
Loved this project... if I saw this at a booth or pop up shop like you're saying, it would probably be the first thing I ask about. Nice job! ;D

I had my dad help me make one.. I use my iPad as a remote for different things in my apartment and I have it attatched to my table. The video really helped and I think my holder looks nice :3 I just changed it a little because i'm not using it as a cash register.
