How To Make An Epoxy Table Part Two
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Part two of two. How to make an epoxy table! I have made dozens of these epoxy resin and wood tables, and every time I learn a little more. In this video I'll show every step to make your own epoxy and wood table. This one was particularly unusual, so its a perfect example of just how creative you can get with these types of tables. I also included pretty good mistake I made along the way, and how I fixed it so nobody will ever know about it.

I vote for the black back ground. White look okay, but a little antiseptic. The table just pops on the black. Your work is inspiring.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback!
This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection kzread.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
I am a new aspiring woodworker and am getting started on just normal house projects like planters and a computer stand. I can't wait to get started on my epoxy because that is the goal for me! You are helping me gain confidence! Thank you for your outstanding videos!
If the client is happy with the base colour, that is what matters in the end. The whole table is amazing, great job!

@@BlacktailStudio what color base was your first choice me personally I thought black would've looked great or brown I guess I just like matching colors lol I subscribed to your channel a month ago and I watch at least one video a day sometimes 3 to 4 videos in a day. you have great attention to detail and do an amazing job if I ever get up the money I would absolutely love to have a business making tables like these they are so awesome great job keep up the good work and videos I love them!!!
Looking amazing mate! Beautiful and I feel that bronze look is fantastic. Great work!
I am not one to comment on KZread , but I believe there is some type of satisfaction watching the table waxed, buffed or whatever term that you might call, I love how genuine are your advices, I also think that in the process of making the table, you should add more footage of making shiny and all, not that you don't give enough advice, but just because, it feels nice watching it get shiny, good luck in your future endeavors Ps: thank u for the content.
Ouch. Having to take it all the way back to bare wood and re-doing the finishing. Props for the commitment to quality, as always. I liked the black backdrop with the black epoxy, made it pop. I liked the multiple pieces assembled to make a table, nice effect.
Definitely the black background I would have a steel look base. Your work is so good!

Sir, you are a real pro. Truly an artistic magic in creating a sublime furniture. Sadly, here in Malaysia, we hardly get to see epoxy tables like this. Perhaps you may like to check wood variety from this region.
This one is probably my favourite up till now, your attention to detail is second to none and it shows in your work, it’s really good of you to share all your tricks you have picked up, well I’m off to watch another one off your master classes now. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome results on the table 😍 Definitely liked the black background best! 🎊🥳♥️

Hi Cam, absolutely stunning table. I love the way the grain comes out when the final coat is finished. I also think the black backdrop looks better on this table. Please keep up the great work Andy
Newbie here 🖐🏾 One of the best have seen, your attention to detail is 😘 Love it, keep up the good work ✌🏾👌🏾
When you're finishing the piece with the osmo, finish the bottom side first, that way you don't have to worry about the marks you're leaving on the piece.

I’m kind of surprised at the hate of the color. 1) it’s not going in your house. 2) that looks like the color champagne, which is definitely a new trend.
Wow. My fav table so far. Gorgeous wood selection. The black epoxy was right choice.

I tried to give it a thought and I personally don't think you could have gotten a nice color on it by painting. The frame looks like something salvaged from an office and putting something like chrome on it would have made things worse.

that gold base ruins ruins it
The black backdrop image knocks your socks off! The table is magnificent!! It lookes like a satellite image of part of the earth's surface! The base finished was perfect! I hope your client was over the moon with the outcome. Cheers
Awesome table. The configuration of the wood, the contrast with the resin and the steel base all work beautifully. Thanks for being thorough with your descriptions and product info.
The client should have gone with a bare metal frame.

I would have suggested copper or brass plated. They wanted brass paint which doesn’t fit with a premium table.
How much would you charge a client for something of this detail? Looks to me like a $3000 coffee table. Am I close or way the hell off? Thanks.

Love it. I know nothing about photography but I did notice one guy doing epoxy tables did his photography with really long exposure shots where he cast a hand held spotlight over the table a half dozen times to get a really cool, soft reflection effect going on where the light bounced around and highlight aspects he wanted to show off, and it just made the table look even more glossy. It looked amazing.

Great video. I am getting ready to do a table just wanted to review this video and several others you have made. I know I will probably make a few mistakes the first time but hopefully I will improve as I go.
A truly amazing table Cam, certainly one of your best. I love your 'warts & all' approach where you show problems & then how you fix them. Most people would edit those segments out of the video but your approach makes your videos so much more authentic. I have to vote for the black background on this video for the backdrop, it makes both the top & the base 'pop' much more than the white. Thanks for sharing, you & your wife stay well. Cheers, Don from South Aust.

Well, what can I say . . . wow, wow, wow. We have just put resin on a new bar top for our pub (we used Glass Cast, a 2 to 1 mix). Which is nothing like the amazing work you have put into that table. However, neither of us had done anything like this before and we were quite hesitant to get started but, although not perfect, we are extremely pleased with the result. We have the 2nd half of the bar top to coat in the next few days ready for the bar refurb in a few weeks. The more I watch people like yourself who are designing and making furniture which involves either just a resin coat or a more technical design like your table, it still amazes me how beautiful resin can be. The wonders of you tube allow people to research and learn so much in order that anyone can have a go. Thanks for sharing. When our bar is finished I will send you a pic. Best wishes, Jay, from a little village in the UK
