    bent branch with a short twig = just as good...I started a local college atlatl group many years ago...

    Lot of ways to do it for sure. But basic branches definitely don’t throw as well as well built and balanced atlatls. And accuracy is what counts.

    Tool heavy and over complicated for a survival atlatl but it looked like a decent one for the end product.
