How to make an Alcohol stove! AMAZING DIY!

Ғылым және технология

Hey! Today I show you How to make an Alcohol stove at home! Awesome DIY project!
We need:
- 2 aluminum cans for any drink,
- some tools.
0.5 liters of water in the pot boils after 8 minutes. 25 ml of alcohol is enough for 15 minutes of burning.
Before starting the burner, you do not need to heat it up - just splash a little on the caravan and set it on fire, the alcohol burner will warm up in one fell swoop and the alcohol vapors will begin to actively evaporate and burn.

It's too flimsy to really be used for what alcohol stoves are used for which is wild camping and backpacking in winter specifically. I don't want to open my gear and pull out crumpled aluminum stove. You're better served using a large tuna can or cutting a soup can. This way it retains it's shape and will remain able to sit flat. As it stands this is a pretty useless device using those materials. It also gonna be potentially dangerous as the cut aluminum is like a razor. You don't need a gash on your hand reaching in your back pack for a stove. It's only real use is for KZread clicks.

The coin is useless. I've made plenty of alcohol stoves and I found that instead of punching a larger hole in the top center, simply make 2 or 3 holes the same size as all of the other holes. It makes filling the alcohol a bit slower but you end up with 2 or 3 small holes in top center that emit blue flame just like all of the other holes. Besides...who wants to go camping or hiking and having to rely on some silly coin. Here in the US you would need old copper pennies. I placed a dime on top of mine and it melted due to the alloys. Now I'm out 10 cents!
