3:35 - Put a second strap with vertical grooves spaced ~1-2 cm around the central tube, this will create capillarity acting as a wick and increase alcohol vaporization, this and making the jets holes with small drill, result in more pressure, and more powerful fire.

Hey if I am camping and want to save space as much as possible could I use those alcohol swab little pads? Or it’s not enough to light

@WaffleMann - I've made and used this type of stove and you need a lot of alcohol to boil water. Those alcohol swabs will burn up in 30 seconds. You need enough alcohol for at least 5 minutes to boil water. Furthermore, you have to use denatured alcohol because regular alcohol will burn dirty.

Dos consejos: una ves que encendieron los mecheros deberias tapar el centro con algo redondo para evitar que se siga evaporando el combustible por dicho orificio, segundo consejo: hacer un apagador de mecheros con la base de otra lata, para poder reutilizar el combustible sobrante

It will be better if you use denatured alcohol, methanol, methyl hydrate, methylated spirits. These burn clean without leaving door on your cook pot
