How to Make a Wooden Hose Holder - Free Design Plans

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

My Project Plans jonpeters.com/
I made this handy wooden hose holder from a 4' piece of 5/4" Ipe wood left over from a deck I built a few years ago. This is a pretty simple but satisfying woodworking project that will help get your garden hose organized and off the lawn. Be sure to pre-drill the screw holes when using Ipe or other dense hard woods to prevent your screws from breaking when assembling the hose holder. I've been using the lightweight zero-G Hose from Teknor Apex for the past few years and and am really satisfied with the performance and durability.

The simplest little projects are the most satisfying sometimes. This also kicked off a 3 video binge watch of the garage shelves & the storage box on top of the 4 wheeler!! Like I said, sometimes the simplest projects are the most satisfying... Hope all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!!

Great project Jon. Also like the idea of having the shutoff located right at the hose holder. To get to my shutoff right now, I have to walk thru my garden. Much more convenient your way!

Totally agree with everything everyone has said about the design especially the nozzle holder. My wife loves the Zero-G because of how light it is when she wants to water the flower beds. I now have four, front of house for the wife, garage, pressure washer, and one at the farm.

Nerf Herder ............Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before a False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day, “Green Sabbath”, “Laudato Si, par. 237”, etc. Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books. The true Sabbath Is not Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc. The true Sabbath is calculated by true time, Genesis 1:14. The first week.....the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. The second, third and fourth week........six work days and then Sabbath day. Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. God commanded us to let the lights in heaven be for days, years, etc. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate our days, years, signs, seasons, Sabbaths, etc., not the Gregorian calendar or any other man-made time. The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept! God has three category of days in the Bible, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day. God’s months start with the new moon day, which is the first day of the month. The Gregorian calendar do not start its months with the new moon day. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on the Gregorian calendar. Sometimes, on the famous Gregorian calendar, the new moon day falls on the “Gregorian Seventh day Saturday Sabbath.” How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath? This along should help a person to see that the Gregorian calendar is not true time and that the Biblical Sabbath should not be calculated by it. The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Exodus 12:48,49 Also, research the "Seven Noahide Laws" and Education Day U.S.A. Do the “Seven Noahide Laws” From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the Talmud. The first law in “The seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols. According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation. Will these laws be enforced on all nations??? Research the connection between the United Nations, The Presidents, President Bush, President Trump, etc. and “The Seven Noahide laws" THESE "SEVEN NOAHIDE LAWS". SEEMS TO BE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!! Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people occupying the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true? There are also other groups of people who say that they are the true Jews. Jesus said in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9 that someone is saying that they are Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan. If Jesus warns us about a synagogue of Satan in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, should not we be concern? If the people residing in the land of Israel not true Israel, then who are they and what is their agenda for the world? Who are the true Bloodline Jews? HAVE A GOOD DAY FRIENDS OF GOD..........GLORY TO THE FATHER AND SON!

There is always someone in the comment section that will find something he/she feels is wrong just to write a comment so they can feel better about themselves. Push sticks are required when distance to fence is narrower than your hand. However if you still feel you need one in all cases then you maybe you should not be using a table saw. Table saws are dangerous by design.

Looks awesome but the hose will pinch once you turn it on. Everytime you use it you'll have to remove all the hose off the holder

Thanks and the hose doesn’t pinch... work perfect if you want to see I’ll be posting another video to my shop talk channel next week answering a few questions about the project.

I bought the material to make this and then realized that i don't have a wood shop with all those tools.

I have counted approximately 10 tools. Although its management is enviable, I believe that what is intended is that I invest in a hardware store business. I buy something simpler imported from China.

I was wondering why anyone would need a holder for a wooden hose?

They tend to tip over. Major tripping hazard.
