Great, but why not raise up the middle hose support so the three forms a arch. Think I will make a couple of these.

Planer Power! You're getting your money's worth out of that little block plane mate; I wish I could keep a plane as sharp as you obviously can. I really liked the colour of the wood before you applied the protective finish and it looks good afterwards too - keep us posted on how it ages outdoors. Great vid.

Mark McCluney thank you! It is not that difficult to keep it sharp if you have a couple of stones and sharpening jig! I have a dedicated video for that if you are interested! Thanks for watching!

Scrap wood City Yeah, I've seen your sharpening vid. I've never used a sharpening jig but I think it's about time I did...

Scrap wood City I bought that cheap plane for 5 euros. If it is sharp it does a pretty good job for me! True value for money!

You have a rotor which you cut the big circle with. How come you don't use it to form the edges and struggle to do that with hand-held planer and sanding?

If you are using two sticks to hold the hose, then does it matter whether the outside is round or not? The cutting the round part is the more difficult part. The rest of them is easy.
