Sometimes chatter tools just don't work. Here is a quick easy texturing tool using simple carving burrs and a couple of bearings.

I'm subscribing not just because your videos are informative but low key that was funny as hell that backdrop wasn't real. I thought you were outside until you brought out the white board. And you can tell your wife is trying her best with the camera zooms and what not. lol. But serious. Informative thanks!

I used " Loctite gel supa clue " for the second bearings so it didn't run down the inside ,,. Regards Alf

Not problem. May work better on softer woods. Don't drag them back and forth, pull in one direction to get a cleaner cut. JimR

they are double sealed bearings with an ID of 1/8 inch and an OD of 3/8 inch. A small rare earth magnet is cemented into the bottom of the hole with a little CA glue. The tool snaps to it and stays in place.

Generally great on end grain and closed grain woods. If the wood is soft - it's a no-go. I used acrylic for the demonstration as the pattern is easily seen by the camera. JimR
