I just bought the same Dewalt saw and was wondering about options for making a router table. Then I found this video on combining both, which is much better than making or buying a separate unit for the router. Thanks for posting this video!
I've been thinking about something like this for far too long. Time to actually do it. Thanks for the post.
Well Done indeed!! Brilliant! I've been fretting about where in my tiny, basement workshop I was going to build and squeeze in a router table. This is perfect since I recently purchased a Dewalt DWE7491. I can't tell you how pleased and impressed I am with your design. NO MODIFICATIONS at all to the saw yet it's easily and securely installed and removed. Of course I had to tweak it slightly for my needs. I enlarged the table slightly (27.5" x 10") to accommodate my Incra--Fence, a perfect addition! I got completely lucky and discovered an old Craftsman power switch in a box that I think came off an old router table and added that to the face. A HUGE bonus benefit is that once I have a perfect cut set up I can still remove the entire fence/table and park it on a shelf, use my saw (which can't be done with the router table in place), then reinstall it and my router cut is still locked in place! WOW!! Great design! Thanks so much!
i really liked how simple and yet effective this router table on a dewalt jobsite saw was, so i built one. it is now my favorite jig in the shop. thanks for sharing this idea . awesome!
As a site carpenter this has made my entire week. What an excellent idea. Thank you
WOW, just WOW! Simple to build, inexpensive, compact. Love it.

This gave me the idea to make an insert for my Bosch table saw extension rail. With the insert area I was able to make it a perfect fit allowing my table saw to support my new router table. Thanks for the idea to spark my creation
This is the most ingenious idea I have seen in a long time,Thank you for sharing and helping us beginners to so easily and effectively have a router table. All the people on youtube who make them usually have all the tools, materials and experience,Congratulations Sir for a fix that is in easy reach of people on a budget and just starting out.hope you are well and safe, all the best.Micsa

YUP. Was getting all set to build some sort of router table that would attach with clamps to my workbench. This is a MUCH better solution.
Just bought the Dewalt job site table saw and this addition will come in handy. I also have a small workshop. So thanks 🙏 ❤
An easy straight forward way to create the router extension. Great video! 👍🏼
Your plan also widens the table saw table! Brilliant build. Thank you for sharing, friend. Be well!
You gave me a great idea for when I build my work bench here soon. I'm trying to consolidate as much as possible while maintaining efficiency. Thanks for the upload👍👍
That’s it. You win the router attachment to table saw prize! Brilliant!
Made this for my dewalt saw and palm router. Worked great even though my saw is slightly different. Good idea!
Just saved myself some money and garage space. Perfect attachment. Thank you.
This is probably the best and easiest idea I’ve seen for a router table! I’ll definitely be adding this onto my Dewalt table saw as well! Thank you!
I am so happy I found your video.. That idea is so good! Making my own this weekend!
So simple, yet so effective. I like the comment about putting it on the other side so u can use the fence 4 both applications. Nice job!
Brilliant idea and execution! Thank you for creating this video to share it!!
Love this idea, I've been think of ways to make the most of unused space, this is perfect.
Something I’m actually gonna build out of all the KZread vids I watch this one will actually help me. Thanks
Love this. Just got a DeWalt compact router and debating doing this with my rigid jobsite table saw
Amazing. On the way to make one and get rid of the router table. Thank you.
Being limited on space myself, this is a great idea! Ingenious!
I have that little table saw at my lake camp and love it! I can store it under a bench until I need it, then I can mount it on my workmate for use
I have that exact same table saw and I'm going to make that so I have it for the job site. Good idea.
Great freaking idea! Thanks for this demo vid. That router is next on my “tools to buy” list, and I wanted a table mount option but didn’t want another table. I’m also limited in space. This will be the perfect solution!
Brilliant. I have almost the same saw, this should be easy to do from your video. Much more stable routing long lengths of lumber on a table instead of by hand.
Great idea and a good explanation for how to make this extension.
Excellent video and process. Thank you for sharing.
Genius !! I’ll be doing this over the next few days, I can’t wait, what a perfect solution 😃👍
Brilliant and simple, the best type of ideas. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! I have the same saw and this should work out perfectly
WOW!😮😍, I have the same table saw and will be following your design. Thank you so much for sharing. New friend here
Absolute genius! I have a DW745 table saw and a tiny workshop. I will definitely be making one of these! One idea I had since watching is to make the top bigger and add t-tracks to lock down a fence. Thanks so much for sharing

What size bolt did you use to tighten it to the table saw.
Great ingenuity ! Well done.
My new weekend project; Genius!
I'm making this in the morning. Thanks 👍
I’m taking this idea and making a few modification to allow use of the fence with the router. The dewalt table saw has an amazing fence system. I hate to not include it in the design. Still working out a few things but it’s definitely going to work.

Great idea. Well thought out and useable.
A good idea for a tiny shop like mine. I'm definitely going to make this. Thanks!
I have the same table saw. I just built a table for it with a 42cm router extension on the opposite side than yours. The extension doubles as support for the fence when ripping large stock, basically giving me a 100cm (~40") table in total. The router extension is equipped wit a Triton MOF001 1400W router mounted in a recessed mounting plate from Rockler, and an in-line start/stop mechanism mounted on the table frame for easier access. I have also built an auxiliary fence with built-in dust extraction port for the router that clamps onto the saws rip fence with table clamps (Bessey TK6) and a full length plate for load distribution (the extruded aluminium profile is quite fragile). The flip-over support bracket and push stick holders were removed for this purpose, and a notch made in the upper corner to make space for the label-thingie on the back.

Do you have a picture of the extension I am very interested in making one similar to yours, thanks

@@jram1852 I have a few. When they were taken, it was still "work in progress" though (and it basically still is). And remember, the whole table was purpose built with this extension in mind. The small overhang seen on the second picture was made to make it easier to access the locking lever for the rip fence. hepau.dk/images/DSC_0013.JPG hepau.dk/images/DSC_0015.JPG hepau.dk/images/DSC_0020.JPG hepau.dk/images/DSC_0035.JPG hepau.dk/images/DSC_0036.JPG

I've the exact same saw and router. This will be a great addition to my tool shed, great video.
Simple! Straight forward and useful! Thanx!
Well done. You have designed a very neat and space efficient solution. Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺
Nice solution for a small space!! Thanks for sharing.
This video is very well done. I'll be trying one of these soon. Thank you
Really nice idea! I'm going to build this same setup this weekend.
Beautiful! You just saved me lots of money and frustration! 👍🏽👍🏽
Awesome idea. Will definitely have to build this.
This is so cool - Love it - excellent work and tip.
Great idea. I'm glad that I came across your video
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you!
Wish I saw this yesterday when I was making doors lol. Just brilliant
I was searching for a way to mount my Bosch router table into a Dewalt table saw I'm thinking of buying today and found this video. Now I wish I didn't buy the router table LOL .... Very nicely done!
Great build bro, im learning alot from you, i definitely will be subscribing!!!!
Simple solution. Great video, straight forward and especially none of the usual KZread faff. 👍👍👍
Brilliant solution to a need, sir!
Awesome and simple combined. I also have this table saw. I need to make this.
Brilliant! Simple! Like you every sq cm counts in my workshop. This solves my problem of where to store a router table. Thanks heaps.
Very nice design. Easy to build and implement. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea and a job well done!
So simple but so effective 👍🏻
My DeWalt table saw arrives today, guess what I am up to this weekend! Thanks for this video!
The second I hear measurements in mm's, I'm watching. That was simply brilliant.
Excellent solution, i have all the individual tools which is why i have no space left to work with them. Such is the problem of tool collecting addiction. 😢
this is extremely clever! thanks for sharing :D
Exactly what I needed, thank you.
Excellent Video. Excellent design. Thanks for sharing
Awesome idea. Building one next week.. thank you
Fabulous effort!
thanks for this idea.. i have a dwe 7492, will implement this jig idea for my makita trimmer!
This is an ingenious use of space. I wish it would work for me, but that space is already accounted for.
Well done. Very innovative approach to confined space. When will you be adding a dust collection system. Can't wait to see your creative approach to this problem we all experience when using router
Thank you! A genius idea that I have been waiting for, as I have the same table saw.

I was thinking about this too. Thinking that with the adjustable bolts to secure, could the table saw fence be adjusted and used for it?
@ninjasportsclub3275

the dewalt table saw has a reversible fence - so if you did what this guy did, but on the RIGHT side of the table saw, then you'd be able to flip the fence and use it for your router table too
Great video. I have the 32.5 inch max rip and the 24.5 rip portable. Definitely I'll make your idea. Thank you again
Great idea! I wonder if you could tap holes in the side of the table and mount brackets there for your aux router table. Then you could use the table saw fence in conjunction with the router
Awesome work, dude! Nicely done! 😃 That big piece of wood at 4:15 would be a fantastic head for a mallet! 😃 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
awesome dude, i will be 100% making this. thank you!!
Now, why didn't I think of that? Great idea.
Ingenious! Earned yourself a sub
Well done, my friend. I am going to copy your design this weekend. Thanks for the video.
