This is a cool/novel way to display steelbooks. Especially since most of the reason to get a steelbook is for the artwork. I just put mine in plastic/mylar cases because I don't want dust or what have you to scratch them.

Thanks. I also keep some of my steelbooks in plastic cases, Particularly the glossy ones. You can keep the plastic cases on, when putting them on the wall as long as the magnet is good enough. Unfortunately the most recent magnets I bought weren't very good.

Unfortunately, there was no Booster in stock...

For people out there collecting steelbooks buy a magnetic knife holder from any DIY and they will hold 3 to 4 steelbook Blu-ray or 4k book they are perfect highly recommend £3 per knife holder

How long before those magnets lose their magnetism and your steelbooks fall off and hit the floor and get damaged?

Would magnetic tape work instead of using magnets + command strips

I find no. The adhesive isnt strong enough and all the magnets will fall off the wall eventually.

My Steelbook collection are in those plastic protective cases would it still work, or would I have to get rid of the cases?

The protective cases I bought, work with the stronger magnet. But the weaker magnets I talked about in this video will not work with any type of case. If you have the sleeves that come with some of the newer steelbooks, neither magnet works. Ultimately, it depends on how good the magnet is. Hope that helps.

@@mikeworkman1759 Nope they're an absolute Godsend, I have an entire wall of steelbooks in their protective sleeves secured to the wall. Depending on your personal collection you may need a few rolls of that magnetic tape. Its dirt cheap though so its worth it
