Simple and effective (plus I was worried about electricity and water but I see you took care of that too). Nice work - it's perfect for camping, off grid life, low budgets, etc. Plus easily scaled up to handle blankets if needed

Fun project. Helpful for those w/o a washer. Much better than wringing. For those with a top load electric washing machine, the machine has a spin cycle. If you hand wash certain items you don't want to machine agitate, like coats or lace tablecloths, then carry the wet items to the washer, move the dial to SPIN and push in the dial. Almost dry due to a full strength heavy motor and no damage to fragile cloth.

Com certeza o elétrico é melhor, mas dá pra fazer manual copiando um sistema de manivela ou corda tipo lavador de alface ou aqueles trituradores de legumes! Enfim, se você conseguir criar, posta aqui pra gente!

A commercial kitchen salad spinner might do the trick that’s got a basket in it and a handle it’s hand crank operated

Or a bucket with holes in or washing basket with holes and a rope then spin it it will spin and unspin over and over just on the rope I’m sure you could put a larger bucket around the net to catch the water and even put a tap at the bottom of it. I think a little heavy duty trash can with lid with a tap installed and a bucket inside with holes in it hung up by a rope would work a handle would be better like a bucket within a bucket on it’s side you could spin with a handle like those tumbling compost drums that kind of set up for a hand crank dryer would work pretty well I think but if your in a pinch a washing basket on a rope and spin spin spin that will do the trick I’d suggest doing it outside tho cos the water will flick around obviously but for camping it would be ok

But you should probably improve it a bit if you want it to work longer than few months. For instance don't use hot glue at all, it won't probably withstand those vibrations very long. .. motor assembly should be mounted with something stronger than that.. probably some screws would do better. 2. Those four screws mounting that basket should have some sort of seal under them .. But after all, it's pretty nice design and I'm not criticising by any means 👍

This is exactly the idea what I was looking for. A laundry spinner like this without a motor (just a handheld rotator ) is almost $80 and that's just ridiculously high price for just two buckets with a cover. I wish I had someone to make this for me as I'm nervous about doing electrical projects like these 😳

Here is an idea, design a little washing machine you can use in a split. kitchen sink. Design the wahers housing do it uses the little gap between wash basins to stabilize itself. Then have a doo dad on the bottom of the washer that slips into the drain used has a mount to srcure washing machine to sink. Water proof the electrical stuff and attach a long power cord with a breaker swtich in the plug. Dedign the little washer with an agitator in the center with a locking snap down lid having a notch for the top of the agitator to hold the inner movable wash basin in place during agitation and the spin cycle. Then design quick connect hose to the water faucet and the dirty water hose that is bent and hangs over the gap between wash basins with a side spout that releases the dirty water in a spiral motion so dirty water foes not splatter everywhere. Design the little washer to act just like a regular washer just in a small size. Three to four shirts or a pair of jeans and a shirt or a few pairs of socks and or under garmets. Then design a little electrical tumble dryer that only uses air to dry the damp clothing and fluff up the clothing. A washer and dryer for small apartment living. You could recycle those battery operated back pack leaf blowers and use those parts to build the cold air dryer. I would buy a set if they were constructed correctly and at a reasonable price. 😊😉
