How to make a Slingshot | No Power Tools

How to make a simple target shooting or hunting natural tree fork slingshot with basic tools. This is a fantastic tool for survival purposes and bushcraft because with a little practice you can become skilled enough with a slingshot to feed yourself

    Very nice Slingshot! I love when something is Handmade! Shooting with Mettalballs is cool but in my Opinion it is better to have a Shooting Box or something that catch the Amunition because of the Nature and Animals around but this is just my point of view Greetings Javor😉👍

    yo hacia los tirachinas o gomeros como le llamamos en mi tierra,con avellano o castaño,de aquella no habia latex y usaba camaras de bicicleta de aquella las buenas eran de corlor anaranjado,y donde colocaba las piedras,canicas o bolas de rodamientos de acero era un trozo de cuero blando (badana),y lo ataba con cuerda de bramante pero no lo hacia como tu yo colocaba la goma alrededor de la horquilla,uno tiraba de la goma y otro la ataba y asi quedaba muy fuerte y segura tambien en el cuero. gracias por compartir

    I only ever use hand tools mainly a knife and sandpaper specially when leavin bark on,there my favourite to do cos a child can do it but I find it’s a great pastime and something that can easily be taut to others. Nice catty cool shootin 👍🏻🍀

    I have to admit that there is something very satisfying about building your own Catapult going out finding an interesting piece of wood and working it into something that will enable you to smash up coke cans as well as woodpigeons with ..I hate to say it but a bought Slingshot just aint got soul to it like a Natural Fork has!

    Colours don't matter thickness does and that question has n simple answer I'm afraid, ammo determines the thickness of band i have a video on 8mm steel band setups. I suggest you join some of the slingshot/catapult groups on Facebook for more info

    is there a reason they keep they Y shape short ? as long as the handle? I've been collected some nice y shaped branches, but I want to keep a few LONGER then others ... is there a draw back? They are essential pretty thick, so I'm sure they won't snap when being pulled on ... but just a lot of length on the top branches
