A bonus of a machine with fancy stitches, is that I do a fancy zig zag stitch to attach the binding. It adds another design level as well

I am a beginner Quilter (haven't sewn anything yet), but have watched a lot of Tutorials. I have seen some on QAYG, Postage Stamp, and tonight yours on Potholders. I want to start small, like a Mug Rug, and you gave an idea, instead of Mini Charm Packs, I am going to use 1 1/2" squares to make my Mug Rug. So hurry with that Binding Tutorial.

It's a good time to get some gifts ready too since it looks like it will be a very quiet summer. I tried to download the PDF instruction sheet but it would not open. I'll try again later.

I had trouble getting the binding to go around the rounded corners without bunching up and getting pleats. Also, I had trouble joining the tails because there is such a small space between the tails. Thank you so much. I have learned so much from your videos.
