How To Make A Proper Airlock System | Space Engineers Experiment
Ойындар
Today, we take the time (hours) of messing around with how to make a proper airlock system as simple as possible. Thanks for watching!
And, Yes, I still sound very odd due to being under the weather...

Thank you for let me learn so many SE skills
I think there is a bit simplier way. sensor (space | outside): airvent depresurise (if trigered) - airvent presurise (if not trigered) airvent: group doors lock 1 on/off (group doors lock 1: set door (space | outside) - off and door (ship | inside) -on) sensor (ship | inside): airvent presurise (if trigered) - airvent depresurise (if not trigered) Sorry for my english. Hope this would hlp some one
Probably a simpler way to do this: ie. when leaving ship/dock. Door is off by default Trigger sensor: Depressurize timer block 1: Toggle Pressurize Timer block OFF > Airvent (Depressurize on) > start dep timer block 2 Dep. Timer block 2: *delay for depressurize* > Toggle door on > open door > Turn on pressurize timer block Untrigger sensor: Pressurize timer block 1: *delay however long* > Close Door > press timer block 2 Press. Timer block 2: Turn off door > Airvent (depressurize off) Turning the pressurize timer block OFF prevents the timer block from pressurizing before the depressurize sequence finishes and turns it back on even if u leave the sensor range.

Thanks for the details. I was sure someone would come up with a simpler solution

Broo what I got lost at the 3rd line 😅
I think you should be able to create this same effect with just 2 event controllers and omit all the timer blocks.
thanks man
Keen has a blueprint available called "a better airlock". im unable to connect to the internet on my console to be able to download the blueprint myself, could you review their blueprint and make a video detailing how the system works? they did also post a walkthrough of how to build the system on the space engineers website, but i cant get it to work; i think i missed a step somewhere
How depresssurising in creative??? My test airlock stucked, because vents won't suck air out.
OR, if you are in a restricted PCU server (like Keen's official) and your goal is to provide access between a pressurized environment and exterior, you can make it with theses blocks : - Round Window Inwards Corner (my favorite) - Round Window - Window Slope - Window 1x2 Slope - Their Warfare I DLC armored windows counterparts - Bridge windows from Warfare II DLC All theses blocks are Air-tight on all their sides but allows passage for engineers. Which is pretty convenient if you dont want to build an over complicated 500+ PCU airlock with doors, airvents, sensors and timers ;)
You lost me 5 minutes in, this was never my thing to get right, timers, sensors aye

I hear you. It's not really something I got very use to either, but practice and just messing around helps. This took me like 3 hours to tinker to get it to this point. I had it super complicated at first having everything automatic open, close, depressurize, open, etc. But the looping made it super complicated. By looping I mean the passage way stays pressurized in or out of the shop or station. All this is moot once automation comes out I think.
