I love the idea about asking for stories to demonstrate a particular value or desired behavior and how it shows up. Can you come sit on the edge of my laptop all day long?? Excellent as always, Chad!!

Once again you nailed it with this one!! I included 2 of your strategies yesterday and it was a game changer! 1) they rewrote their definition for science in the early childhood classroom and we had them google unique facts about 4 different animals/plants found in GA. Thank you for keeping our virtual trainings alive and stellar!!!

Thanks, Chad! I agree that people rely too heavily on PowerPoint. I've been fighting this and want to make them more interactive. I am an educator and am interested in your retreat. You were a speaker at our Extension conference a couple of years ago and I've been following you since.

This article has another video sandwiched in: weand.me/2021/11/02/how-to-make-a-powerpoint-presentation-interactive/ and there are heaps of presentation and engagement tips around the channel as well. Let me know if you are looking for something more specific.

Took a little longer for me to watch this video (backed up with work), but I made it! Love all the ideas, and specially want to try the google optical illusion. Introducing a new stimulus causes peoples brains to sort of wake up! I think another concept that you do really well is the energy you bring to these videos/presentations. Tonality/ body language play a huge role in virtual presentations. Using hand movements or presenting standing also help. One idea I got from your Googling concept is, sort of sending participants on a "mission" to find certain information, solve certain problems, or even to find something interesting. I think I'll try something like this in my next virtual presentation with students! Thanks Chad!

Thank you Chad for recommending this, I love the idea of having my students translate the objectives. I have to make sure the objectives are clearly stated as part of my job. Just getting someone to read it is very childish and I train adults. I think I will use the Google optical illusions for my multiple day courses as brain breaks, openers and closers. Very cool ideas, Thank you for recommending it! 👍

This is a great way to continue the conversation offscreen. I definitely resonate with #2 making sure how to create the content offscreen as an experience. To branch out even further do you have any further information for neurodivergent learners?

Hello Chad, New subscriber. I'd like to know how to land those ideas with elearning lessons for children. To be honest I've been trying to make my PP Presentations more interactive but I don't know if I am doing it ok. I'm an english teacher and It would be great if you made a video about teaching children online and perhaps some tools we can use as teachers. Thanks for your videos. Greetings from Peru.
