👋...Awesome vedio!!!!..finally PowerPoint became a game changer for teachers!!!🧡🧡🧡 Slido was available but class point is the winner💯 in my opinion 😀 Now that we are back face to face(half the class for two days then the other for the next two ) without devices I will still engage myself using one or two features..thanks a million

Thank you for sharing this. I think I like using this better than using Pear Deck and Nearpod just because it's directly connected to Powerpoint, which I am quite familiar with. Even though Pear Deck is much more creative in terms of slides and Nearpod has a lot more features (quite heavy). I haven't tried it in my class yet, but I have tested it out myself just now. Classpoint is straightforward and convenient for me. I'm going to try this in class tomorrow.

Thanks for watching! At this time, ClassPoint can be used with up to 25 students with the free version. Then, you can add more students with the paid versions. I review some of the free/paid differences at the end of the video and you can also use the link in the video description to learn more about the free/paid differences/

is the IOS version available?

ClassPoint works directly within PowerPoint. So, you create the PowerPoint and overlay the interactive elements all at the same time.

How did you get the "grid looking" slide under the pictures?

Hi Denise! The grid is just part of PowerPoint. If you click "View" and check the box next to "gridlines," it will appear. I like to keep it turned on when I am creating my slides. It helps me keep everything lined up. But, I usually turn it off when presenting.

Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting. I am excited to read that you are looking forward to using ClassPoint with your students. Based on the Pricing information on the ClassPoint website, there are three payment options (monthly, quarterly, and annually). It looks like you should be able to cancel at the end of any billing cycle you choose. I do not see anything that indicates you are locked in for a set amount of time.

Do i still need to use google meet or zoom for my online class ?

Hi Franz! If you want to be able to chat with students while you go through, you will need to use with a video presentation software. At this time, there is not an audio component that allows you to talk with students if teaching virtually.

Is the promo code still available to upgrade to classpoint pro?

Hi Connie! As far as I am aware, the promo code should still be working. ClassPoint didn't give me an expiration date when they gave me the code. If for some reason you find that it does not work, I recommend emailing their customer service. Let them know that you saw the video on Vestal's 21st Century Classroom's KZread channel and that you would like to use the promo code offered. ClassPoint is a great tool. I hope you and your students enjoy using it!

How about the pupil? How can they join the class...do they have to Download class point app.to their mobile phone?

Hi Theress! Go to 9:30 of the video to see how to share it with students. Students can access the presentation from any device including computer/laptop, tablet, or smart phone.

@@Vestals21stCenturyClassroom Yes I did and they said they have plans to release it for Mac devices but no confirmed timeline yet. Its a shame since this could be such a useful tool for classroom and virtual teaching.
