How to Make a Oaxaca Old Fashioned, a Mezcal Spin on an All-Time Classic

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Back in the early '00s, Americans didn't drink as much mezcal as they do now. The last couple decades have seen the spirit boom and early in that cycle, bartender Phil Ward created a riff on the Old Fashioned cocktail at the bar Death & Co. that celebrated the spirit. But only so much. He actually cut the mezcal with tequila. Our resident bartender Jason O'Bryan shows you how to make his version of Phil Ward's modern classic the Oaxaca Old Fashioned in the latest episode of Cocktails for Grown-Ups.

Makes more sense calling it "Oaxaca" Old Fashioned using only Mezcal.
