The blue liquid is ebonol. It make the brass look antique 👍

New cap for the bottom with o ring seal, that's easy , take a look at a Douglas Field lighter etc. I have BIG hands, and all the peanut lighters are fidgety to operate. So yeah bigger is always better

I use carbide and HSS cutters. Depending on the type of material, the shape of the cut and the geometry.
