My piggies LOVE cardboard box houses-everytime I get a package, I think, “ Can I make something for them with this size box 📦?” I also save toilet paper/paper towel rolls and wrapping paper insides to make them little treats with hay and a small amount of forage/piece of veggie in them for the piggies to play with and they love them ❤ There’s a woven Timothy hay mat by Oxbow that has wooden pieces on it (that you can attach to their grids )that they go nuts for and always chew until it’s nothing . It’s a big hit with my herd ❤❤❤

Having guinea pigs allows us to be creative to provide them toys and hideouts. Have you tried making them a xmas tree? Have some printout available 🥰🥰🥰

We have two piggies who are adventurous and the other one would not leave the blanket on the floor even if there is no cage 🥰🥰

I have a hamster to and like Guinea pigs hamster balls are safe for your hamster

Great tips and gorgeous piggies. I'm definitely going to try making some surprise forage treats - at last a use for all the paper that comes in my Amazon packages! I had to laugh when you said that when one guinea pig is snoozing the other will keep watch, though. This is definitely not the case with my 2 boys. They like to sleep at opposite ends of the cage and totally ignore each other. 🤣♥🧡♥
