I’m in the US and panicked when I saw the uncovered enclosure…I keep forgetting that you don’t have the same predators in the UK! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Once that little brain fart passed I was able to admire this absolutely gorgeous and well thought out enclosure! Well thought out and brilliantly executed piggy paradise! So glad these rescue piggies have such an amazing place to live 🐹🥰

We have predatory birds, but only in certain areas. The piggies are safe.

Yeah, we hunted all the predators to extinction. Nothing left but foxes and badgers.

You need to let the sheriff know the piggies are escaping the cells. 😂

The details in there are incredible! The wanted posters, the gnawed through jail wall, the little train etc. I'm sure those little piggies already love it!

Its even better now they have trained them to do shoot outs! (for food) its even better than their other zoo displays the bidgie in a cage and the gold fish bowl!

Can't wait to have my zoo keeper experience here and see all the Gertie's piggies at Hog Springs. I actually have a couple of Gertie's piggies of my own! Best to be aware that some piggies can develop bloat with too much grass though, especially if not used to it. I'm sure you guys are all knowledgeable on this stuff though and more a warning to new guinea pig owners.

LOL I LOVE this. Maybe this is a bit morbid, but ive been really wanting to try guinea pigs as a food source, despite them being such lil cuties. Id love to have a homestead with chickens and pigs and a little village like this for them to enjoy themselves before they have their 1 bad day...

It’s so satisfying to see Guinea pigs given such a wonderful and enriching living space. So many are improperly cared for, but this looks like a piggy paradise! The creativity is also rlly cool :)

You can tell most the piggies you've shown that they're not used to being out in big open spaces by the way they walk close to the ground, give them a month and they'll be running around like it's nothing..

I volunteer for a guinea pig rescue in Australia, and this video was posted by a member of our support group. I am SO impressed! I've seen some horrendous set-ups in "zoos" ... sad. This enclosure has been well thought out - the only change I would make would be to put an open shelter over a small portion of the enclosure, so even when wet visitors could see the guinea pigs out and about - but that will be easy to add later. I was also impressed with the information signs ... all correct! And the one desexed male with his "harem" is perfect for a harmonious herd. Obviously the Rescue (Gertie's?) has had a big hand in the development. HOORAH! Well done! I hope it is an amazing success.

I just love this wonderfully, creative and spacious home you have created for these beautiful piggies. This is exactly how Ginnie pigs should be kept. I have 3 Ginnie pigs now and have been a Ginnie pig owner since 1990 but I have never been able to provide them with such a beautiful spacious home as this. This has given me a goal to provide even better for my Ginnie pigs although they have a spacious home inside and a run outside I do not have the space to make it as big for them. I most definitely would recommend a big run and heated shed for your Ginnie pigs dear owners. Be never a small cadge that you find in pet stores. They love to run and can run for miles at a time. They are designed to live on the Forrest floor under tall grasses and graze all day long ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
