Are you providing 12v to ESC and simply connect the ESC signal wire to servo tester?

What voltage are you running and how many amps does it draw under a load. That will let people know if it can be done with batteries.

With R/C components its more likely that the motor burns out before the batteries. Of course, you'll need to use LiPo batteries.

I believe he's using a 12v power supply. They're pretty efficient if you're using a low KV, higher torque motor. It helps have a power supply of at least 2-3Amps for adequate grinding. Most lithium ion batteries will be able to supply this power no problem. 3 batteries in series will provide a very happy medium of speed and power. = )

The motor is turning clockwise if you look from the front side, that will cause some trouble wen using drill bits, usually they are anti-clockwise (front of the tool), you should test motor direction before finalizing assembly

Direction of BLDCs can be changed by switching any two wires of the motor.

I would say that it's comparably strong, but much more efficient on power usage. They're incredibly efficient at delivering torque. = )

That speed controller runs on 2-3 cell Lithium (3.7 - 4.2v per cell depending on charge state), so... 7.4 - 12.6v input... The voltage will determine you outright max RPMs

That's the architecture of bldc motors. Here the permanent magnets remain stationary and the electromagnet rotates.

2212 2200kv bldc motor not suitable for that. It's rpm is over 20000 on 12 volts. ESC will explode on first load.

Why did u forget the priority of cooling while it running on 35k rpm as it can melt the outer plastic pipe within seconds
