Nice one! some great post-processing techniques there, I might re-try this one day. Did you not think to try something far simpler, like standing in your yard/porch facing daylight midday every day? :-) I dabbled with this some years back, just used the same focal length and full arm lock, try and capture the same time of day outdoors wherever I was at the time.

@@UntamedScience Btw ....in case you're wondering, I fell down the spiral of questioning what are sustainable shaving options, and ended up going straight razor. Been shaving with the same blade for years now.

@@HumblyNeil :) - hopefully you didn't spend too long finding that solution. :)
So the secret is a lot of hard work frame by frame? I got a few thousand images across 20 years. And all of them have a somewhat accurate time and date. Using a combination of availability python scripts to do facial recognition, landmark identification and learning based interpolation. There is a lot more that can be done. And if it works out to some extend, it will even take video and do image enhancements on multiple frames.
There's some George Lucas vibes in the longer beard shots :)
