2 months in and i am really loving it but as you said the awkward phase kinda started to begin, so excited to see how it looks in next 4 to 5 months.
Straight to the point. I like that
I find not trimming the neckline at all and growing my beard so it reaches my neckline gives the best results because it all connects together and creates a really thick beard that can be shaped better.

Once the beard grows past the neck beard, don’t bother cleaning up the neck
He’s the GOAT
Totally agree let it grow man be patient don’t trim it don’t line it up just let it grow like the man said at 6 months then you can decide
What I liked to do when I grew my beard out was to never trim it (as said here) and to also use some beard oil or wax to shape the beard in the in-between stages, so that it doesn't look too messy.
In other news, Tuesday comes after Monday.
Let your beard grow wild. Don't trim/shape it unless you've gained the desired length. Also, don't use any unnecessary products on your beard because they're all useless and nothing but scam. If you've got good roots the beard will grow on its own. At max, use your regular hair shampoo on your beard and every month (once or twice) use natural coconut oil to massage your beard. Make sure it's natural and doesn't contain any mineral oil in it as that would dry your skin, weakening your beard roots. A great way to check if the coconut oil is natural or not is to put it in refrigerator and wait until it has hardened like white wax... It usually takes overnight, unless it's winter and you can buy hardened coconut oil off the shelf...

You should use cold pressed oils e.g. coconut , castor, black seed - these will helps fill the beard out and give it a lustre

sorry i disagree , you need to hydrate the face
good looking beard !
Thanks man. I'm a starter. I want to get full beard.
Patience is the key.
Interesting. All the bear growing "pros", including when it was a Netflix show, always said it was a defensive game(trimming is good) And it makes sense. The more you trim the more even your hairs will be which in turn will make it look fuller. Now trimming means trimming the top quarter inch a bit. Usually with scissors.
that moustache is magnificent
Excellent advice, I'm bearded myself and yes guys just stop trimming if you want a long Beard
So what u r saying is it's better 2 get pissed off than pissed on?
My face grows stubble and prickles very quick. So in a week I can have facial hair but I've never had a good beard.
You are right
My beard grows insanely quick and thick sometimes I wonder if im half werewolf but it takes me no more than 2 months to get any beard i want.
I want a long beard but mine is longer than yours. Can you tell me what are you considering a long beard? Because for a person like me I feel at a certain length I start to get splits or dry skin
Can i use 12mm once a month?
Growing mine out and my neck beard is atrocious 😂 my cheeks don’t really fill out either so it’s just circle beard and neck beard popping out
And use HeadnShoulders menthol coz it feels freakin good to shampoo the beard with menthol 😂
Listen up….got looked at by local PD for several weeks…..growing out for at least 4-5 mos is truth
I thought this was Rob McIlhenny
I tell people this all the time. You have to make it through the "I forgot to shave" phase to make it to the big beard style. Took me countless trys before I made it 😅 in hindsight I highly recommend any brand of beard oil!! Really helps your skin not get so itchy. Also the itch does go away you just have to get used to it. I get asked beard questions from guys who could grow way better beards than me if they just let it go for a while 😂 I'd recommend shaving the sides but not taking any length off
I just want a big mustache
I always wonder how some get so comfortable with the mustache covering the upper lip. This I can not do 😂. I like the lips showing. The other problem area for me is upper mustache going into the nose which is extremely irritating.
Im almost a year of not trimming it and still short, i have one fist beard for now.

@@sigmamale6143 Orthodox Christian. It has been standard grooming for ancient Christians to have long hair and beards. Levitcus 21:5 is the grooming standard. The only thing that changed since then was circumcision which is forbidden in the orthodox church. I am the only one in my family that is orthodox the rest are Methodists.

@@bronsonleach3573that’s very similar to Muslims I didn’t know were told it’s sunnah (what the prophet peace be upon him did) kept the hair and beard long as his companions and other prophets such as Jesus, noah, Moses stc

@ni2516 Muhammad took a lot of traditions from orthodoxy and the jews. Circumcision is forbidden in Orthodoxy. I know jews require it, and Muslims prefer it. I however being born in the United States and not born of the faith had it happen however my children will not have it done. You probably know of the Byzantine Empire. A very powerful Empire that lasted for 600 years until the Ottomans conquered them. Orthodoxy is very strict but it only follows the ten commandments much of the traditions are considered optional but are encouraged. Such as women wearing a veil in church and dressing modestly. Men growing beards and hair while dressing decently. Muslims and Orthodoxy do not share much of anything except on how we dress during formal events. I am not considered a official member yet but that is the faith I follow.
Nice nice
I am now at 2.5 months Some Parts grow faster than other parts. But i am not going to touch it until 6 months

Some people got it, some people don't. I think that's just how it is. There are certain products that promote hair growth, but if you ask me, it's a gimmick.
Exact reason I don't have dredlocks. That ear length is goofy looking.
I see it like this as I'm a bearded man I think genes have a little to do with it. I also notice that most times if you can grow a solid stache then the beard may be a bit of a struggle ..

Genes have a lot to do with it. I could grow a full beard at 17 like my grandfather and father before him. Some people can some people can't it is what it is.
Let me know when you get a “long” beard. 😂😂
