I'm obviously not using enough bait cups! My outdoor bin is 48" x 34" (an oval), so thanks Gaetano for showing me how it's done. ~ Sandra

I actually bought some of those hydroponic cups specifically for baiting out worms, since I can't be bothered to get a soldering iron and the plastic fumes that follow for the more DIY methods. They work great! Love the new facility, and your worms look fantastic as always!

Congrats on the new facility. It looks amazing. Coincidently, I just did a bait trap for one of my bins, After watching this video, I might have to add another tub or two to get them out.

Thank you for stopping over. After doing some experiments, I found out that with covering the surface with as much bait as possible, the baiting process will be faster, especially with thousands of cocoons that have different timing for hatching

Very good video!! I really enjoyed you saying the word "split" so many times, the emphasis on that word is so important when growing worms to bait size. The action of splitting is the "key" to growing large worms. Of course, there are other things that make a difference, but splitting is absolutely the most important. 👍👍 Enjoy worms and have a great Day!

Thank you very much my friend. Splitting and giving the worms the right space to grow and be "happy" is one of the key of worm farming

That's a lot of baiting boxes. I like it - I might try doing something similar (I usually just bait with only 1 or maybe 2 boxes) 👍🏻

my favorite baiting vessels are the clamshells that you get when you buy fresh berries at the supermarket, unfortunately they cannot be recycled and I found that they last for very long time as bait box

Lino, I used those Berry's containers a lot in the past, but right now, I need bigger bait containers for the siE of my nursery. I found out that more bait cups you out in the nursery bins, faster is the baiting process

Try tossing out some slices of white bread lightly misted with water on top of the baby worm beds they're attracted to the bread and will flock to it where you can collect them

There are different ways to do this. I found out that when you have a big container like this with tons of babies, this is, for me, the fastest way
