I am so enjoying contrasting tonal styles - the dressy black trousers, heels, with the casual tank top and woven belt is right up my alley-I’m trying my husbands woven belts today! I love to mix soft feminine details like lace camisoles and cashmere tops with edgy leather bottoms, jackets, bags, boots and metal details. 💕

My problem is, I love everything you show. I want everything.

Yes, #3 is the most important tip🌟. I’ve been watching the runways fashions for summer & winter. Channel & Ralph Lauren could illustrate your point entirely. Clean look with a few good pieces is excellent advise. As you showed, it isn’t the cost ( 17£ for the evening top), it’s the presentation. You’re the BEST😍😍😍

I’m in my mid 20s and have been transitioning the last few years to a more mature fashion I’m still very much learning plus I realize more & more how disconnected my family was from me as I did not even know how to part my hair until semi recent. I do appreciate these channels, I don’t follow anything set but take things from different creators who I enjoy. Thank you for sharing what you know, I think it’s a really important space online for girls & women who may not learn anywhere else.

I think my favourite tip is about “the undone”. I always struggled with If it’s not felt too stuffy or too formal, and you help me to understand that having an undone element can help to break this up!

I use the auto-generated subtitles. They say, "These pieces are designed by our cat." "You know what I fan I am of our cat."

Congratulations for 400,000 subscribers!!! And happy birthday! Can we just talk for a minute about how amazing little details truly are in an outfit!? I stopped wearing ballerina flats because I felt so short in them. But then I found a pair with a micro heel, we are talking about the quarter inch little heel pad. It is amazing how much even a tiny little heel height will do for the appearance and elevating an outfit! And suddenly you look tall, more sophisticated, and elegant. Also, I have found that more masculine styles in lighter, more nude or cream colors can really soften the style. Loafers for example. I can’t seem to pull off black loafers. They take over my outfits and just don’t look as refined and elegant as I’d like, because they carry more of a masculine look, even the more sleek styles. At least in my own opinion! But I have found that a nude shade looks really. Nice and adds that subtle touch of masculine edge I want, without taking over my outfits. Same goes for more structure blazers. Choosing more subdued and muted tones of black, camel, cream, and any color such as dusty blue just looks more feminine and soft.

Been enjoying your KZread and insta content for about a year (found you via a a reel on how to style different jeans which was so helpful!). I am medium-built, middle heavy/apple-shaped and sometimes oversized clothing doesn't work on me. Can you please provide suggestions? I wanted to try the oversize trend but it doesn't suit my body and I always go for structured pieces. Structured pieces though are sometimes hard to match when you just want to do casual stuff. Also I am from balmy sub-tropical Brisbane Australia so layering too much is pretty warm. Looking forward to your next video. :-)

I love the effortlessly chic look, great job. Your last outfit where you piled on the accessories to show the opposite..........well, having just come back from a holiday in Italy, I would say this is how many Italian ladies that I saw dressed. They dress up their outfits, to make a complete ensemble, with the sunglasses, the belts, the bags, the beautiful statement earrings, the shoes and look fab. It is a different look though. I think the key to their look is they know when to stop, to not add one more item. Maybe there is a magic number - 4? Your eye and brain can only take in so much information, and a few accessories it can cope with. Too many and it is overload. I worked in a smart casualwear shop for years and regularly changed the mannequins in the windows. The Head Office sent the pictures that we had to copy. The look included accessories, as they want to sell these items, but it was always a balanced look. Plus always a sleeve rolled up neatly with an underlayer peeping out, and a shirt or blouse with a white t-shirt underneath. Always quite a lot going on in these outfits, but they always came together in a harmonious way. I do like to see someone well dressed who has a flair for accessorising that takes an outfit to the next level. Hats are my favourite accessory. It takes confidence to wear a great hat as few people wear hats these days, .

Good tips about not overdoing accessories. Ever since I've been watching your videos, I've been more mindful of not overdoing things and being more minimal. I wonder if the linen color you show would match my skin tone. Wish you had the same skin tone as me so I would know what colors look good on me.
