I watched your video the night before and applied it on the next round. I have been yipping most of this season with 36 putts per round but yesterday’s round was 29 putts ! So happy! Thanks !!

Weirdly, I did all these steps yesterday as it just felt right (beginner golfer) and have just now found your video and explanation and backs it all up! Worked great for me and so much quicker than other techniques. Will spend the afternoon drawing lines on all my balls now 😅

Nice trick to determine your dominant eye: use your fist to look through at a target. The eye you just used is your dominant eye.

I have a caddie who shows me the line and I just put he has 30 years experience. But I don’t want to rely on his judgement I want to develope skills to read the line to a successful put

Well this is luxury! I am sure your caddy is great. But as you said, its always good to have own skills. Just try it out and if you have any further questions, just let me know! (Maybe you can borrow me your caddy at some point ;)

LOL…. You should have seen my wife and I attempting to determine the dominate eye. I think I got mine in about 2 minutes for her it was longer because she has never been able to close one eye at a time !? LOL I think we finally got it and surprisingly mine is the right eye and her’s is the left. I like the use of the putter shaft to connect the two points and to find an intermediary target to putt over. Thanks!

The main thing is, that you are clearly in one line behind the ball. Of course its better if you get lower but I guess it's not decisive end the end....

Actually, I avoid using the line. For me it actually takes away from the focus of speed and the target. I try to take out mechanical thoughts and practices when putting. Standing close to the ball and picking a spot I want to hit on the line helps me more. I did catch one of the German videos of stretches, didn't understand a word but could tell what you were trying to show. Certainly glad you are Bi lingual! I really like the way you teach! It appears your views have really increased in the English speaking market! Jeff PS I'm not on any other platform Instagram ect.

Hi Jeff, this absolutely fine. I am fan of instinct putting and more important, that you realised that you need to change something! I mostly use the line for short putts as my optic is not the best. Yes, I've had my German Channel for 6 years now. I love to bring the English one to life. Lots of fun and a totally different flair!
