How to level a shed

After some thought, I realized that the likelihood of me selling this shed is slim. I’ve decided to keep it and make it my fuel storage building since it’s now several hundred feet from any dwelling. I moved it into place, jacked it up and leveled the shed using a floor jack and blocking.

I'm glad after reading some of your replies to comments that you are keeping the shed. But then after the final move and leveling we all knew it wasn't going anywhere. Your wife knows almost as much as my wife. My wife knows it all. But I can see they are both big help to us.

After 30 years I’ve learned to just ignore the constant barrage of questions and suggestions. It would have taken more air than I have to explain why you can’t pull a shed on runners, sideways.

I decided to keep it. I don’t think most folks will realize that it can be moved easily on a trailer and since it’s only 8 feet wide, would not require permits.

Looking Good! Don't tell anybody that I hope you don't sell it. FWIW, I suspect the value, for specific storage, is far more than the dollars you may receive. From what I remember from you old place, your fuel storage is extensive. Having a safe, separate, secure, convenient place is worth a whole lot, IMO. BTW, knowing how to use levers is a valuable skill, as you just proved. -- Give me a long enough lever and I can move the world! -- Having a floor jack and a few bottle jacks ain't bad either. :-) Thanks for sharing and proving the benefits of hard work. God Bless.

Kinda got it the other way around. Gasoline vapours is lighter than air and propane is heavier than air. Either way, add a spark to the party and you just might have a rocket ship. Good ventilation is a must to keep them cool and cozy.

Ever heard of - Damkietor Nonpareil Dominion - (do a search on google ) ? It is a smashing exclusive product for building better sheds and woodworking without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.
