    You are ,definitely,getting good at that. Sweet sheath. Do you know what factory made those Solingen pattern blades? They are all the same with different brand names. Every one I have ever handled was made of excellent plain high carbon steel with a pretty hard temper. Keen Kutter Frost and Linder are some of the brands. I don’t think they are factories, but I don’t know for sure.

    I’ve come across easily half a dozen knives that look nearly identical with different brand names, but jade in somingen. PIC is another. The steel dies seem line very high quality.

    @@bctruck I’ve been looking for and old Linder catalog that showed a bunch of those with there identification marks. I can’t find it now . It’s a needle in the digital haystack I imagine. Those Solingen cutlers play their cards pretty close to their chests. I Have a little one around here somewhere. If it wasn’t made in the same factory as several, with various brands, that you have shown, I’ll eat my hat! With no bacon!

    A good night's sleep can make a difference. But, please don't ask me how I know. Hadn't thought about how much additional challenge there is in customizing sheaths with an assortment of knives. The one in this video is a good example because of the shape/thickness of that handle, itself. It looks like you've developed a knack for meeting said challenge. 👍 Hope you and Charly have a blessed Friday. Stay cool. Enjoy the hummers on your front porch. They are special, that's for sure. I do believe that evil is a cancer that’s spreading fast. Just look at all the politicians that become multi millionaires on a senator salary. That’s on both sides of the aisle. Mike Johnson, the new speaker of the house is local to me. He lived in Benton Louisiana, lived in a very modest house, had $5000 in the bank. Now, just a few mo the later, he’s moved into a much larger house in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in our area, even though his salary has increased only very modestly.

    Concerning the” fat head opinion” portion; This problem is in every endeavor that comes with holding some kind of power over others. It’s horribly obvious in a situation like this murder, but less so in finance, medicine, politics and ,unfortunately, religion. It’s an obvious manifestation of Satan’s work to retain power on earth. It’s everywhere and it lies like a rug. The fact that a police officer gets to keep being one after a DUI is unacceptable. Sobriety is mandatory for a “peace” officer. I hate to say it, but the only reason that guy had a badge is because he looked great in a uniform. But it was just lipstick on a pig. They hired a crazy murderer that may now reap what he has sown . Unfortunately, it won’t bring the dead back to life or erase this additional un needed scar on the reputation of law enforcement. Corruption is high now because it’s time is short and it’s desperately angry . Hold on to your faith. That’s all you really have. Corruption will be melted away in the light of faith. I have known so many really decent police officers. I was amazed at how much some wanted to help me after the untimely death of my poor brother. They were truly decent men and every one suffers because of an as* hole like this murderous wretch. Furthermore, the jerk that hired him is as bad or worse for causing this to happen.

  • @bctruck
    @bctruck2 күн бұрын

    The guy had 3 DUI’s. He had his license suspended on the last one. How was he able to drive a cop car? Who would hire a guy that had been fired from 6 jobs in 4 years? Especially cop jobs! Now, I think that it would be impossible for a “good cop” to exist in an ocean of bad cops.

  • @chopsddy3

    @@bctruck I don’t think it’s impossible in all locations, but it’s ,definitely, the case in some instances. You folks in Texas just saw an entire department go down as a criminal organization a few moths back. You need the whole armor of God to get by in this mess. Expect to be tested to the utmost of your faith. The inmates are running asylums and criminals are in charge of jails. Murderer’s practice medicine and thieves run banks. Satan’s devoted children pastor churches that pervert the gospel while taking God’s name in vain. I will refrain from going on about the multitude of false prophets pouring out of the woodwork and from under rocks. There’s plenty of that too. It’s obvious. God’s rebellious angel, the ruler of forces in this world, the one that tried to tempt Jesus and then killed him is pissed and throwing a tantrum because he is about to be locked up for a thousand years. Brad, be ye angry yet sin not. This will probably get much worse before it gets better. Then, it’s done. Satan gets locked up, we get a thousand more years for some to get their act together. The second death clears out the last of the rebellion and we can go back to tending the gardens of paradise.

Yet, I woke up this morning. I heard Sis's TV, so I know she's awake, too. Thank you Lord, for another day, for both of us. Thanks for sharing foxes and coons. Made me smile this morning. Can't think of a better way to cope with what's on local news, as I type. After getting caught up with that, and an update from another Fox, it's easy to hit the mute button, unless there a storm warnings. Hunker down time. For some reason, the Dutch phrase Als Ik Kan also comes to mind. It's a motto that I've had for a number of years. At one time I used it as my computer password. Think, in this case, it's how we should handle whatever today presents, as the hours pass. As best I can. With help when only 1 set of footprints are left along my path. As always, hope you and Charly have a blessed day. Taking time to smell the roses regardless of what form they take when you see them from your porch. Godspeed.
